La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway, Morton Group’s chic restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas featuring shareable dishes and extraordinary wines, will take visitors on an exquisite world tour inspired by the internationally renowned grand prix race coming to the Las Vegas Strip this November with an exclusive wine flight, available Thursday, Nov. 16 through Saturday, Nov. 18.

In celebration of the 2023 international race calendar, La Cave introduces a specially curated, sommelier-selected wine flight, inviting enthusiasts to embark on their own epicurean journey. Priced at $34, the flight features 2-ounce pours of four wines from various countries presented on a custom flight board, each of which have been selected to pair beautifully with La Cave’s menu of shareable dishes.

The sommelier selections include Cava, Gran Saroa, from Brut, Spain whose tasting notes of fresh bread dough, apricot, Granny Smith apples and wet stone are ever-apparent; Rosé Domaine Ott, BY OTT, from Côtes de Provence, France with notes of crisp white peach and apricot mixed with passion fruit and mango; Côtes du Rhône, Alain Jaume, “Les Champauvins”, from Rhône Valley featuring bright red cherry, cedar on the mid-palate, black and white pepper finish; and Graham’s, Late Bottled Vintage, from Portugal 2017 highlighting its luscious texture with ripe black fruits, raisins and burnt sugar.

La Cave’s dinner menu seamlessly complements the exceptional wine collection, enhancing the rich tapestry of flavors found in La Cave’s globally-inspired dishes. Shareable plates include a salmon sashimi tostada with pickled red onion sesame soy dressing, priced at $19; beef carpaccio featuring mushrooms, capers and truffle aioli, priced at $21; charred octopus served with crispy potato and fava bean purée, priced at $29; and sirloin steak with creamy white polenta and mushroom fondue, priced at $34.

For those who prefer daytime indulgence, La Cave’s popular butler-style, tray-passed brunch will also be available on Wednesday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Priced at $99 per person, La Cave’s brunch experience offers an array of culinary offerings, each presented tableside. Highlights from the brunch menu include bacon and egg flatbread topped with Neuske’s bacon and poached quail egg, filet mignon eggs benedict, cinnamon apple waffles, truffle mushroom grits with pecorino and truffle oil, along with several vegetarian selections, including snickers pancakes served with bananas foster and tomato mozzarella flatbread prepared in the wood-fired oven.
