Legends Bay Casino Marks First Anniversary with Epic Battle of the Bands Showdown, $60,000 Birthday Briefcase Promotion, and More
First New Casino in Reno-Sparks in Over 20 Years Celebrates 1st Anniversary Milestone
Legends Bay Casino, the first new casino built in Northern Nevada in over 20 years, is gearing up to celebrate its incredible one-year anniversary with a variety of month-long casino promotions and a free two-day Battle of The Bands musical showdown on Aug. 25-26, 2023.
Produced by award-winning Amplified Entertainment, the outdoor Battle of Bands kicks off on Friday night, August 25th, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and continues through Saturday, August 26th, with a competition featuring 12 local and regional bands of varying genres including Classic Rock, Country, and Top 40. Guests can vote for their favorite band throughout the competition via a QR code from their mobile device. The competition will conclude on Saturday night with three bands claiming the $1,000 top prize for their genre.
This free event will take place in a dedicated party zone sprawling from the front of the casino under the porte cochere and throughout the north parking lot. Food will be available for sale from local food truck favorites and beverages will be available from various bar stations.

Following each night’s festivities, the party will be taken indoors to the Circa Sports Sportsbook from 10 p.m. to midnight for the official first-anniversary After Party where we’ll jam on with free live entertainment from Eminence and New Wave Crave, plus enjoy drink specials, and more.
