Music fans can celebrate long after the festival is 
over with these specialty cocktails inspired by the talented lineup.

To celebrate the return of one of Las Vegas’ biggest music acts on Friday, Sept. 19 and Saturday, Sept. 20, fans can raise a glass to their favorite artists at some of the city’s hottest bars, restaurants and poolside destinations with cocktails inspired by the festival’s lineup.

Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina, located at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, is home to signature drinks crafted with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum and Santo Tequila, plus Sammy’s canned cocktails and Red Rocker Lager. Featured cocktails include the CW Mai Tai, made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Platinum Rum, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, tropical juices and a Myers’s Rum float; the Toasted Colada, made with Beach Bar Rum, Coco Lopez, pineapple juice with a toasted coconut rim; and El Santo, made with Santo Mezquila, crushed jalapeños, pineapple and orange juices, chipotle and agave nectar. A full selection of Santo Tequila margaritas is also available, including flavors made with mango, strawberry, tamarind and cucumber. The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, the swanky hideaway behind a men’s grooming salon at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, will offer guests libations inspired by the stars taking the stage at the festival. Offerings include the Redheaded Mai Tai, made with Sammy Hagar’s own Sammy’s Beach Bar White Rum and Sammy’s Beach Bar Red Head Macadamia Nut Rum, topped with pineapple juice and Cointreau and served on the rocks. Hagar, along with other iconic stars including Sir Rod Stewart, Bruno Mars and Howie D of the Backstreet Boys, have taken the stage for surprise performances at The Barbershop – a top spot for live rock on the Las Vegas Strip. Proper Bar at Proper Eats Food Hall located on the promenade level of ARIA Resort & Casino is offering a collection of performer-inspired cocktails to celebrate the annual music festival. Available all weekend, Proper Bar’s star-studded cocktails offerings include a throwback with the Summer of ’69, a Bryan Adams-inspired cocktail made with gin, grapefruit, champagne and simple syrup; the Greedy-Tini a drink for the dancers and pop lovers made with gin, vermouth, olive brine and garnished with an olive; the Need A Favor, Need A Drink a cocktail for hip-hop fans made with whiskey, bitters, sugar and garnished with an orange slice; and the Bad Habit, a drink ginger-loving pop fans made with vodka, ginger beer, lime juice and garnished with mint and lime. Caspian’s Cocktails and Caviar, the rock ‘n roll speakeasy located at Caesars Palace, is a picturesque caviar bar with a backstage pass to a rebellious rockstar hideaway. Sammy Hagar blew the roof off at the speakeasy’s grand opening in January, and now Caspian’s raises spirits with a specialty offering of Santo Tequila in the New Fashioned. The modern, no-rules remix on an old fashioned offers a sinfully smooth blend of Santo Reposado Tequila, agave and bitters for a sweet yet complex cocktail. The cocktail lounge at Caspian’s is open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday-Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday-Sunday, with the kitchen closing at 10 p.m. nightly. Step into a world where style meets flavor at Amaya Modern Mexican, a cutting-edge dining destination at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas that captures the vibrant spirit of Tulum through the cuisine of acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Jason McLeod. The Sassy Piña is made with Sammy Hagar’s Santo Blanco Tequila, Casamigos Mezcal, Ancho Reyes liqueur, Cointreau, pineapple juice, vanilla syrup and fire bitters, served on the rocks with a black lava salt rim and pineapple garnish. Made with a mix of Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, mint, fresh lime juice and sparkling water, the libation rocks a well-balanced tropical melody with hints of coconut and mint for a crisp, cool, sweet cocktail.
