Toast National Tequila Day Throughout July

Mijo Modern Mexican, CliQue Hospitality’s vibrant Mexican dining destination at Durango Casino & Resort, and Wax Rabbit, the intimate speakeasy hidden within the walls of Mijo, will toast the agave spirit with Telsón Tequila specials throughout July, plus bottomless margaritas on National Tequila Day, Thursday, July 24.
Priced at $18 each, the limited-time-only libations available at Mijo and Wax Rabbit are the Oro de Durazno, made with Telsón Reposado, peach schnapps, sweet and sour, and soda; and the Obsidian Cloud, crafted with Telsón Blanco, crème de cassis, triple sec, and egg white. Bottles of Telsón Tequila Blanco and Telsón Tequila Reposado are also available, priced at $250. On Wednesday, July 3, Wax Rabbit will kick off the holiday weekend with $7.04 Telsón drinks all night long as a pregame party for the Fourth of July. To celebrate National Tequila Day on Thursday, July 24, both venues will raise a glass in celebration with bottomless Telsón margaritas, flowing all day for $32.
Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant is open from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
