Henderson Location Marks Fifth Book in Southern Nevada for CEO Derek Stevens’ Sports Betting Venture

Today, Circa Sports – the sports betting venture from CEO and downtown Las Vegas casino operator, Derek Stevens – opened its fifth Southern Nevada book at The Pass Casino. Located in downtown Henderson, The Pass’ book will offer a convenient betting option for visitors to the newly renovated and rebranded property.
Launched in 2019, Circa Sports is helmed by a team of the country’s top betting experts. It has become known for the country’s best odds and competitive wager options with a menu that appeals to all levels of bettors.
“I’ve always been a fan of Water Street in Henderson, so to launch our fifth Circa Sports book at The Pass is a big moment for Circa Sports,” said Stevens. “Owner Joe DeSimone and his team have done a wonderful job reinventing this property, and we look forward to reaching a new range of customers here.”
The new Circa Sports book is one of the many updates for The Pass, which opened at the former site of the Eldorado Casino on April 1. The book offers pedestrian access right off Water Street and features two kiosks and three betting windows. Guests can grab a drink at the adjacent Pass Bar, with high-top tables and chairs presenting a prime viewing spot to catch the action on several big-screen TVs.

The Pass’ Circa Sports book was launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, with speeches given by Stevens, DeSimone and Henderson Mayor Debra March.
Mayor March said, “We know that Derek cares deeply about the Henderson community and we are excited to welcome Circa Sports to our city. A state-of-the-art book like this will bring new opportunities for growth and development for Water Street.”
Circa Sports has seen rapid growth since its first location at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, Shortly after, it opened at sister property the D Las Vegas, and then ventured outside of Nevada with the launch of the Circa Sports mobile app in Colorado. Last fall, Circa Sports launched its flagship location at the world’s largest sportsbook inside Circa Resort & Casino, and then a satellite book at Tuscany Suites & Casino last month.
