Love is in the air at Holsteins’ this Valentine’s Day. The celebratory Velvet Shake is sure to make sippers swoon with vanilla ice cream, Bailey’s Red Velvet, red velvet cake crumbs, cream cheese frosting, topped with raspberry sauce, pink & heart sprinkles, whipped cream, gummy hearts and cherry sprinkle hearts. This sweet treat is available for $15 from Feb. 5 -16, 2020.
Beauty & Essex
Beauty & Essex is a one-stop shop for a lush gift and a romantic dinner. Enter through the stunning pawnshop, where all eyes are on the curated collection of vintage jewelry and one-of-a-kind goods. Once inside the restaurant, the jewelry box-inspired room will set the stage for a lavish dinner for two. Beauty & Essex’s Valentine’s Day specials include Steak Tartare + American Caviar with cured egg yolk, garlic aioli and sea salt crisps; Frisky Frisee Salad with field greens, fenugreek, shaved asparagus, and strawberry vinaigrette; Silky Chocolate Fettuccine with red wine braised short rib, wild seasonal mushrooms and fennel confit; Saffron Kissed Butter Poached Lobster with tarragon foam and edible flowers; and the “Sweet Heart” with cherry, dark chocolate mousse, feuilletine streusel. STK
At STK, guests can enjoy specialty menu items available Feb. 14-16. The vibrant bar scene, inspired menu, sexy atmosphere and in-house DJ offers a flirty take on the classic American steakhouse. STK will keep the romance with specials including Soy Honey Glazed Ahi Tuna with quinoa, citrus, mint, and scallion lemon dressing, Roasted Halibut Filet with sweet potato puree, capers popcorn, Brussels sprouts petals, and smoked butter sauce, 10 oz. Bone-in Beef Filet Rossini with crispy toast, seared foie gras, shaved truffle and periguex sauce, Porterhouse 28oz. The elegant and sophisticated Japanese-cuisine destination, Zuma, offers restaurant-goers an indulgent Valentine’s Day prix-fixe menu perfect for date night. The $140 omakase menu features Suzuki no Sashimi with sliced seabass sashimi, yuzu, truffle and salmon roe; Kaki no Ponzu with shingoku oyster, ponzu and kizami wasabi; Hourensou No Goma Ae with steamed baby spinach and sesame dressing; Ebi No Tempura with rock shrimp tempura and truffle mayonnaise; Zuma Special Sashimi and Truffle Sushi; Suītopoteto No Yaki with sweet potato and ginger teriyaki; Ainame no Koumi Yaki to Kousou with grilled Chilean seabass, green chili and ginger dressing; and a 12oz. Rib Eye with truffle sauce and freshly shaved black truffle.
