Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, located at 740 S. Decatur Blvd., has welcomed a rockin’ new Italian restaurant to its dining lineup with the opening of River Rock Pizza & Pasta. The restaurant is now open for dine-in and takeout at 4 p.m. daily.
River Rock Pizza & Pasta has amassed a loyal following of pizza lovers in Laughlin, Nev. after the first location opened at Aquarius Casino Resort in 2020. The new River Rock at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur spans 2,250 square feet and seats up to 108 guests.
River Rock Pizza & Pasta brings a fun, rock ‘n’ roll vibe to authentic Italian cuisine made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. River Rock’s décor channels the high-energy spirit of rock music, incorporating rustic elements with eye-catching accents, including brick walls adorned with records from rock legends, guitars and rock n’ roll photography.
The menu is highlighted by signature Neapolitan-style pizzas, assorted starters, fresh salads and an array of Italian pasta dishes. Signature pizzas include Brooklyn style, topped with meatballs, spicy capicola, pepperoni, red onion, ricotta cheese and a signature sauce; margherita with fresh mozzarella cheese, tomato and basil; and roasted chicken and spinach with provolone and mozzarella cheeses, chili flakes and a garlic white sauce.
An indulgent selection of entrées and pastas include shrimp and capellini, featuring scampi-style shrimp and angel hair pasta topped with a house-made pomodoro sauce and fresh basil; red wine-braised short ribs served with cavatelli pasta, roasted wild mushrooms and fresh herbs; and grilled New York marsala, a thinly sliced New York steak topped with braised onions and mushrooms, bacon and a marsala wine sauce.
Starters include Nona’s Meatballs, featuring beef and pork blend meatballs topped with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese and served with garlic bread; calamari fries served with spicy marinara, lemon basil aioli, pickled peppers and crushed pine nuts; and toasted ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and topped with parmesan cheese and spicy tomato basil sauce.
