RUNNIN’ REBEL SNEAK PEEK SET FOR OCT. 7 AT 6 P.M.
Free open-to-the-public event at the Thomas & Mack Center will offer UNLV men’s basketball fans the opportunity to watch the team in action, meet the guys and win prizes

The UNLV men’s basketball program will host its Sneak Peek event on Friday, October 7 at 6 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The event is free and open to the public and will offer Runnin’ Rebel fans an opportunity to watch the 2022-23 team in action, meet the guys and win prizes.
Free food will be available for UNLV students and they will also have the chance to win a pair of Joyner Lucas concert tickets, which will be given away at the conclusion of the evening. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free T-shirt.
The team will be formally introduced at the beginning of the event in “Midnight Madness” style and then will be available at the conclusion for a meet and greet with all fans, including autographs and pictures.
“We love welcoming our fans to campus,” head coach Kevin Kruger said. “We will have a couple of weeks of official practices under our belts before the Runnin’ Rebel Sneak Peek and are excited to have Runnin’ Rebel fans back in the Thomas & Mack Center. It should be a great night!”
Following introductions, the team will run through a variety of on-court drills commencing with a 5-on-5 scrimmage.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the event is expected to last an hour, concluding at approximately 7 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase.
The Runnin’ Rebels open the 2022-23 season with a four-game homestand that begins on Monday, Nov. 7 vs. Southern. UNLV will then host Incarnate Word on Saturday, Nov. 12, Dayton on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and High Point on Friday, Nov. 18.
