Buckles and Barrels for Bailey Charity Barrel Race – Sept. 5 – 7
South Point Arena will host the annual Buckles and Barrels for Bailey event Sept. 5 – 7. All proceeds from this race benefit the Las Vegas Spring Valley Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This event is free and open to the public.
Rocky Mountain Gun Show – Sept. 13 – 14
South Point Arena and Equestrian Center welcomes the Rocky Mountain Gun Show Sept. 13 – 14. The two-day exhibit offers outdoor adventurers access to one of the world’s largest displays of ammunition, apparel and machinery. “Door Buster” prizes will be given to the first 200 guests, including boxes of ammunition, weaponry cleaning kits, shirts and more. In addition, four gun show attendees will take home a free gun, courtesy of the Rocky Mountain Gun Show. Doors open at 9 a.m. Individual tickets are currently available and start at $15.
High Roller Reining Classic Horse Show and Western Gift Show – Sept. 13 – 20
South Point Arena proudly hosts the High Roller Reining Classic Sept. 13 – 20. Recognized as the international “crown jewel” of western riding competitions, riders from around the world will participate in the best Las Vegas and West Coast reigning events in history. Coinciding with the event, the West Coast Breeders Select Sale will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20. This select sale is designed to offer elite, pre-screened yearling performance bred horses for sale at public auction. The new performance horse sale offers multiple levels of incentives for cosigners, buyers, stallion owners and those who purchase stallion services through the High Roller Reining Classic Annual Stallion Service Auction. This event is free and open to the public.
Andalusian World Cup and Feria del Caballo Horse Show – Sept. 25 – 27
South Point Arena welcomes the Andalusian World Cup and Feria del Caballo Horse Show Sept. 25 – 27. As the largest Iberian horse show in North America, guests will get to enjoy an event built upon the equestrian industry’s top breeders and breeds. The event will host horses from across the world, including the United States, Canada, Mexico and Spain. Entries for the Andalusian World Cup and Feria del Caballo Horse Show are now open. Deadline for entries is Thursday, Sept. 11. This event is free and open to the public.
