Tickets on Sale Now for Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s Blue Party on Friday, October 2
Runway Fashion, Art & Music Under the Stars at World Market Center
Goodwill of Southern Nevada wants you to get your blue on, because helping someone find work is always in fashion.
Tickets are now on sale for Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s second annual Blue Party, a night of original runway fashion created by local designers from clothes purchased at local Goodwill stores, live performances by David Perrico – Pop Strings Orchestra with special guest Frankie Scinta, and TAO Group Resident DJ Wendi Cakes under the stars in the courtyard of the World Market Center in downtown Las Vegas on Friday, October 2, 2015.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Guests must be 21 years of age and show a valid ID at the door to enter.
Blue Party, presented by CBRE, will showcase seven local fashion designers who will premiere one-of-a-kind-collections using reimagined and repurposed Goodwill merchandise during a live runway fashion show hosted by FOX5 News This Morning anchors Maria Silva and Dave Hall. Vegas/Rated & Vegas SEVEN’s Melinda Sheckells will serve as behind-the-scenes commentator and roving crowd reporter.
The night will also include live painting with artists from Jana’s RedRoom, a silent auction, live auction, vendor booths for fashionistas to shop and drinks provided by Wirtz Beverage Nevada. Runway model hair and make-up will be donated by Sephora.
Standing/general admission tickets start at $35, and include one free drink ticket. Tickets can be purchased online at: www.goodwillblueparty.vegas. (General admission tickets will be $40 at the door.) Guests are encouraged to wear blue.
All proceeds raised at Blue Party will benefit Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s mission of helping people in Southern Nevada find employment, no matter circumstance or disability. The ability to work creates the economic energy that builds strong families, strong communities, self-confidence, friendships and independence. Everyone deserves a chance to have those things in life and Goodwill of Southern Nevada provides that chance.
