“Just like Las Vegas’ world-famous New Year’s Eve celebrations, the Monorail’s nonstop service during the Strip’s closure is an annual tradition,” said Ingrid Reisman, vice president and chief marketing officer, Las Vegas Monorail. “It’s our pleasure to provide safe, efficient and cost-effective transit along the Strip during the destination’s most exciting weekend of the year.”

Last year, more than 300,000 people gathered along the Las Vegas Strip, which shuts down to automobile traffic from approximately 5:45 p.m. New Year’s Eve night until 4 a.m. on New Year’s Day. With streets closed off, the Monorail is the only motorized form of transportation available along the Strip on New Year’s Eve.

The Monorail has five stations along the Las Vegas Strip: MGM Grand; Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas; Flamingo/Caesars Palace; Harrah’s/The LINQ and SAHARA Las Vegas. Two more stations are located at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Westgate Resort & Casino.

About Rí Rá Las Vegas
Crafted in the warm pub style of 19th century Ireland, Rí Rá Las Vegas is located inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.  The authentic Irish pub features a multitude of artifacts that were carefully restored in Wicklow, Ireland and shipped to their new home in Las Vegas. Rí Rá Las Vegas contains an authentic Victorian Shop bar that began its life in Ireland in the 1880s, a whiskey bar adorned with an original glazed jewelry cabinet from 1900, an oak floor from a whiskey distillery and an 8-foot-tall, 500-pound carved plaster statue of St. Patrick dating back to 1850.  The pub hosts live entertainment seven nights a week in a music room constructed with artifacts dating back to 1890 from the Olympia Theater in Dublin, Ireland. Born and raised in Dublin, Rí Rá Las Vegas owners David Kelly and Ciaran Sheehan have been close friends since they were 14-years-old. Kelly and Sheehan later partnered with Jay Luther, whom Kelly met while working for Guinness. Rí Rá Las Vegas is one of nine pubs the trio has opened in the U.S.

The idea of a new place in a familiar space can be hard to swallow. However, ADRENALINE SPORTS BAR & GRILL is a new place that acts as a fresh new outlook on an old, familiar space.

In the mid/late 90’s, the Las Vegas music scene had reached a pinnacle in regards to talent. Bands such as 12 Volt Sex, Inside Scarlet, Phatter Than Albert, Attaboy Skip and Face Down were just some of the bands that were revered and respected.  Venues were held in high regard as well. The Boston, Legends, The Huntridge were places every band wanted to play. This equation of band plus venue equaled a community that people were excited to be a part of. These venues allowed for fans and friends to come together to celebrate local music and the scene itself.

The early 2000’s gave way to new venues that were called upon to carry the mantle of that family atmosphere in local music. Some succeeded and some failed. And with some of those failures, the set faltered. Today, a renaissance has erupted and veteran Vegas musician Ric Eubank (ex-Face Down, Broken End) has launched a venue that he believes can help revitalize that family atmosphere.

Ric Eubank has taken one of Las Vegas’ most familiar spaces, The Cheyenne Saloon, and converted it into an updated, state-of-the-art music venue and rebranded it ADRENALINE SPORTS BAR & GRILL.  Like the new moniker suggests, this new venue gives an energetic shot in the arm to the local music landscape. Being a part of the Las Vegas musical community for so long has given Eubank the passion that is required to make this venue not only successful, but special as well. He has been able to extract all the weaknesses of the Cheyenne Saloon. Gone are the smoke filled rooms, the inconsistent equipment and sound system, the uneven stage, the high prices, the closed kitchen, and the propensity towards booking one specific genre of music. In their place is a new, open approach to booking bands that will focus on all genres of music, a huge 42’ by 17’ stage, and a 54,000w Carvin line array PA. There is also a new 7600w monitor system with the downstage monitors built directly into the stage. Eubank has shown that he cares about what you’re eating and drinking as well in his new establishment. With domestic and craft beers on tap and an in-house Wing King restaurant available for all concert goers and patrons that is open 24 hours while offering catering, carry out and delivery.

ADRENALINE SPORTS BAR & GRILL offers a more than legitimate alternative for music lovers and musicians alike who are now having a hard time finding booking and parking downtown. A new place in a familiar space.

ADRENALINE SPORTS BAR & GRILL – 3103 N Rancho Dr. Las Vegas, NV.  (702) 645-4139.

Five Ways Iggy Azalea Transformed Drai’s Nightclub into Las Vegas’ Hottest New Year’s Eve Bash

FIVE WAYS IGGY AZALEA TRANSFORMED DRAI’S NIGHTCLUB
INTO LAS VEGAS’ HOTTEST NEW YEAR’S EVE BASH

iggy

In a town jam-packed with parties, celebrities and revelry, Iggy Azalea stood high above the rest (literally—11 stories above the Strip) by hosting the first ever live New Year’s Eve concert event at Drai’s Nightclub atop The Cromwell. Transforming the nightlife venue into a full-blown live concert spectacle, Azalea gave the standing-room-only crowd a powerful dose of something fancy to start off 2015.

Just as she counted down to the stroke of midnight, we will now count what made Iggy Azalea at Drai’s Nightclub the most in-demand ticket in Vegas.

1. First Things First…

As a veteran performer at the club, Azalea has never been more at home in Las Vegas than when she’s at Drai’s. The club is perched 11 stories high atop The Cromwell and offers the best unobstructed views of the famous Las Vegas Strip, boasts a massive outdoor party haven with multiple pools and cabanas, as well as a spacious, state-of-the-art indoor adult playground where partygoers get down to beats by renowned DJs and world-class performers. The perfect setting for Azalea to ring in 2015, Drai’s Nightclub provided an unforgettable backdrop for the historic evening.

2. Pulled Up Looking Picture Perfect…

Yowza, that entrance! After getting glammed up in her room – a Boulevard Suite at The Cromwell, Azalea strutted over to Drai’s Nightclub for her takeover with boyfriend Nick Young of the LA Lakers in tow. Donning a sexy silver-to-gold fringe ombre one-piece with sparkly nude fishnet tights, I-G-G-Y has never looked better. She wore glittering heels during the midnight moment, but changed into a pair of silver over the knee boots for her performance. Way to put the cap on a successful year while kicking off the new one in style.

3. Champagne Spilling…

How many people can say they had their final seconds of 2014 boisterously celebrated by Iggy Azalea and Nick Young while everyone in the room downed a glass of champagne, then watched fireworks from the most beautiful view in all of Las Vegas high above the Strip? The full house at Drai’s Nightclub last night can. As the midnight moment neared, Azalea took over the microphone, commanded full attention of the club and led an epic midnight dance party complete with champagne showers, confetti cannons and magnificent views overlooking one of the most famous streets in the world. As fireworks danced through the sky, Azalea headed back in to prep for her big performance.

4. Let The Whole World Feel It…

Maybe not the whole world, but anyone inside Drai’s Nightclub or around The Cromwell surely felt Azalea’s one-of-a-kind presence reverberate over the Strip. Infusing every song with her signature style and energy, the crowd couldn’t help but “Bounce” around to her “Fancy” antics. Making them “Beg For It” by showcasing her top singles, Azalea belted out other fan favorites like “Black Widow” and “Work.”

5. You Already Know…

…and if not, then you should! Google just released its top trending music artists of 2014 and the highest honor can’t be Igg-nored. Leading that list is none other than the rap goddess herself – not to mention, she was also named as the sixth most searched human being for the year. Billboard also just revealed the star’s song “Fancy “was the most streamed song of the year and her album “The New Classic” was the second most streamed album in 2014. Fans who braved the chilly evening in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve and found refuge at Drai’s Nightclub got to witness one of the top names in the world up close and personal. Considering the star is about to embark on an arena tour, this more intimate live experience was a special treat for the sold-out crowd.

In true Las Vegas fashion, the party never ends at Drai’s Nightclub – especially not when it’s New Year’s. On the decks tonight (Jan. 1) is DJ superduo Adventure Club, followed tomorrow (Jan. 2) by mysterious but oh-so-talented The Weeknd. Rounding out the gargantuan week of performances is resident DJ 3LAU on Saturday, Jan. 3 and DJ Franzen hosting SunDrai’s on Sunday, Jan. 4.

Limited tickets for Adventure Club, The Weeknd, 3LAU and DJ Franzen can still be purchased online at www.draislv.com.
