 dick clark productions and ABC announced today that multi-platinum selling artists Sheryl Crow and Usher will perform on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020,” live from the Allstate® Fan Fest in New Orleans, where locals and tourists gather each year to celebrate the New Year in advance of the annual Allstate® Sugar Bowl®. As previously announced, Billy Porter will host the Central Time Zone celebration from New Orleans, providing viewers with exclusive performances and interviews leading up to the countdown, plus stunning fleur-de-lis drop at midnight to ring in the New Year. “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020” will be broadcasted live on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. CST on ABC.

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020” marks the 48th anniversary of America’s biggest celebration of the year and will include 5 ½ hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s celebrations from around the globe. In addition to Billy Porter hosting live in New Orleans, Ryan Seacrest will continue his reign as host of the primetime festivities for his 15th year and lead the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City, joined by newly announced co-host, Lucy Hale. Boyd Gaming destinations citywide are offering special holiday buffets at Aliante, Cannery, The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Fremont and Main Street Station on Christmas Day (Wednesday, Dec. 25) from 11 a.m. to close. The holiday buffets feature brown sugar and mustard-glazed baked ham, roasted Prime rib, butter whipped potatoes, cranberry relish, classic lobster bisque, waldorf salad, Yule logs and other holiday favorites. MRKT Sea & Land at Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa will serve a special Christmas menu on Christmas Eve (Tuesday, Dec. 24) from 5 p.m. to close and on Christmas Day from 3 p.m. to close for $75. Guests will begin their meal with a choice of lobster bisque, chive crème or a Boston Bibb salad. For the main course, MRKT will serve a Chilean seabass paired with king crab, truffle risotto and asparagus jus. Dessert will feature a chocolate raspberry torte with apricot coulis.

Aliante’s Bistro 57 is serving up a tantalizing Christmas Day special for $55 from 3 p.m. to close. The three-course special includes an arugula salad with glazed roasted pecans and a lemon vinaigrette, ribeye and seared scallops served with lobster sauce, and a warm panettone served with cinnamon ice cream.

Alder & Birch Cocktails and Dining at The Orleans Hotel and Casino will offer two flavorful Christmas Day specials on December 25 from 4 p.m. to close. The first special features a stuffed turkey dinner served with haricot verts, roasted sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and giblet gravy and fresh cranberry sauce for $44. Diners can also enjoy the mixed grill trio for $46, featuring a filet topped with foie gras butter, lamb chop topped with tapenade and shrimp scampi served with tomato risotto and Parisian vegetables.

For $20.99, diners can savor a three-course, land and sea dinner at The Orleans’ Copper Whisk Café on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to close. Start the holiday dinner with a choice of a tortellini and spinach Christmas soup or house salad, followed by a petite filet mignon and seafood Newburg nestled in puff pastry served with croquette potatoes and fresh vegetables. A Christmas Yule log will be served for dessert.

 

SC Prime Steakhouse & Bar at Suncoast Hotel and Casino will offer several three-course menu options on Christmas Day from 2 p.m. to close. Start the meal with sausage and corn chowder or a baby gem lettuce wedge salad; then grilled filet mignon served with a petite crab cake and Madeira wine sauce for $58; pistachio-crusted Alaskan halibut served with sautéed shrimp, fingerling potato and baby spinach for $48; or pan-seared duck breast served with a wild rice pancake and port wine reduction for $38. For dessert, guests can enjoy a chocolate truffle cake with raspberry Chambord sauce and fresh berries.

Du-par’s Restaurant & Bakery at Suncoast will serve up a traditional holiday menu on Christmas Day for $18.99. For starters, diners can choose from the cream of butternut squash soup or a house salad. The main entrée choices include a holiday roasted turkey or honey-baked ham, each served with savory stuffing, butter whipped potatoes, turkey gravy, candied yams, cranberry sauce and seasonal vegetables. For dessert, guests can choose a slice of freshly-baked pecan or pumpkin pie.

Redwood Steakhouse at California Hotel and Casino will serve delectable Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner specials for $49 from 4 p.m. to close. The Christmas Eve dinner special includes butternut squash soup as the starter; broiled rib cap steak served with whipped Yukon potatoes and maple-glazed carrots as the main entrée; and a chocolate ganache torte for dessert. On Christmas Day, guests can enjoy a three-course special, featuring lump crab cocktail as the appetizer; beef wellington served with duchess potato and glazed carrots as the main entrée; and a Yule log for dessert.

Paradise Café at Fremont Hotel and Casino will serve a delicious Christmas Day meal for $16 from 11 a.m. to close. Diners can choose the roast Prime rib served with a baked potato and green bean almandine or the stuffed sole served with rice pilaf and green beans. All holiday meals include one trip to the soup and salad bar, plus the choice of a slice of chocolate ganache, carrot, coconut or black forest cake.

Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery at Main Street Station Casino Brewery and Hotel will offer a tasty three-course Christmas Day special for $14.99 from 11 a.m. to close. As an appetizer, diners can enjoy a fresh garden salad. The main entrée features a crispy pork shank served with garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and red wine sauce. Guests can end their dinner with a slice of chocolate mousse cake.

Snaps Restaurant at Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel is making holiday dining easy, serving a scrumptious holiday platter on Christmas Day for $12.99. The holiday platter features sliced turkey, glazed ham, mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, sweet potato, green bean casserole and a generous slice of pumpkin or pecan pie.

Guests can enjoy a ham dinner special at Mary’s Diner at Eldorado Casino and The Court Café  at Jokers Wild Casino on Christmas Day. The ham dinner special includes the choice of soup or salad, savory stuffing, root vegetables, candied yams and a slice of holiday pie. The special will be available at both properties from 11 a.m. to close for $9.99.

New Year’s Eve Highlighted Menus and Specials:

Bailiwick All American Pub + Eatery at The Orleans is hosting a NYE Glow Party on Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. DJ Kyd Wicked will be spinning EDM and top hits throughout the night as guests party into the new year enjoying an open bar, small bites and snacks, games, contests, party favors, a photo booth and more.             The Las Vegas Aviators® professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, will open a brief five-game homestand against intrastate rival, the Reno Aces, Tripe-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, on Saturday, June 29 at Las Vegas Ballpark®.

The five-game series against Reno will conclude on Wednesday, July 3 with the Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by City National Bank.  All games in the series will begin at 7:05 p.m.

The Aviators, 44-35, are currently on a Northern California four-game road trip against the Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, that will conclude on Friday, June 28.

The Aviators organization have the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in the state of Nevada. The franchise is playing in their 37th season in the Silver State as a member of the PCL.

            SILVER STATE DIAMOND CHALLENGE, presented by Nevada Donor Network: In 2009, Las Vegas and Reno developed the Silver State Diamond Challenge and the “Silver Plate Trophy” to add to the excitement to the rivalry for the two PCL teams that represent the state of Nevada…Reno defeated Las Vegas, 3-games-to-1, in the 2015 PCL Conference Championship Series.

            +MiLB Es Divertido Ser Un Fan – “It’s Fun To Be A Fan Campaign!” The Aviators will transform to the Las Vegas Reyes de Plata (“Silver Kings”) eight times during the 2019 season at the Las Vegas Ballpark.  The remaining dates are: Tuesday, July 2, July 23, July 30, August 20.

Minor League Baseball announced on Feb. 18, 2019 the second annual Copa de la Diversión® (Fun Cup™) event series taking place during the 2019 season.  MiLB, on July 24, 2017, launched Es Divertido Ser Un Fan, a new multi-cultural fan engagement platform aimed at specifically connecting with Hispanic/Latino baseball fans in 160 markets throughout the U.S. and Canada. The program debuted in August 2017 in select MiLB markets, including Las Vegas, Charlotte, North Carolina; Kane County, Illinois; and Visalia, California, with national expansion implemented in the 2018 season!

The Las Vegas Reyes de Plata will take the field celebrating the city and state’s pioneering history at the forefront of the precious metal mining business that continues to define the Silver State today.

Reno’s roster features one of the top 10 prospects in the Diamondbacks organization, according to Baseball America: right-handed pitcher Taylor Widener (No. 7).

Following the homestand, the Aviators will embark on a brief four-game road trip to Albuquerque, N.M. to face the Isotopes, Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, from Thursday-Sunday, July 4-7.

The Triple-A All-Star break will then commence from Monday-Wednesday, July 8-10. The 2019 Ronald McDonald House Charities Triple-A All-Star Game, the 32nd annual contest featuring the International League vs. Pacific Coast League, will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at Southwest University Park in El Paso, Texas, home of the Chihuahuas, Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The game will begin at 6:05 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live on the MLB Network.

 

The Aviators will broadcast all games on Lotus Broadcasting on NBC Sports Radio AM 920 ‘THE GAME’, which will carry live all 140 regular season games. Also, all games will be available on the Aviators website (Major League Baseball Advanced Media, MLBAM) at www.aviatorslv.com.  Russ Langer, the 10-time Nevada Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA), is in his 20th season behind the microphone calling Aviators baseball.

All Aviators games (home & away) will also be broadcast on MiLB.TV via aviatorslv.com.

The Las Vegas Aviators® professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, will open a season-long 12-game homestand against the Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, on Friday, May 3 at Las Vegas Ballpark®.

Las Vegas will also host the Grizzlies on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.; Sunday at 12:05 p.m. and Monday at 7:05 p.m.

The Aviators will then host the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, in a four-game series from Tuesday-Friday, May 7-10 (all games at 7:05 p.m.). The homestand will then conclude with a four-game series against the Tacoma Rainiers, Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, from Saturday-Tuesday, May 11-14.

Saturday and Monday’s games (May 11 & 13) will begin at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday (May 12-Mother’s Day at 12:05 p.m. and the homestand finale on Tuesday, May 14 with a special start time of 10:35 a.m. for the 16th Annual School Day game).

The Aviators, 16-11, are currently on a brief four-game road trip in Northern Nevada against intrastate rival, the Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The trip will conclude on Thursday evening at Greater Nevada Field. Las Vegas, under manager Fran Riordan, are in the first season as the Triple-A affiliate of the A’s.

The Aviators organization have the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in the state of Nevada. The franchise is playing in their 37th season in the Silver State as a member of the PCL.

2019 LAS VEGAS BALLPARK ATTENDANCE: In 12 dates, Las Vegas total is 118,362 for an average of 9,864 (12 sellouts).  The grand opening game on April 9 was a season-high sellout crowd of 11,036 vs. Sacramento. The Las Vegas franchise has reached the 300,000 plateau in “home” attendance in all 36 seasons (1983-2018). The all-time attendance total now stands at 12,119,373.  In 36 seasons at Cashman Field (1983-2018), the attendance total was 12,001,011.

The Aviators organization, in the finale of the homestand on Tuesday, May 14, will present Smoker’s Strike Out 16th Annual School Day Game, sponsored by the American Lung Association. The day will feature a field trip to 5th grade students in the Clark County School District for the special start time of 10:35 a.m.

Over the past 15 seasons at Cashman Field, a total of 138,526 fans attended the morning games.  Last season (May 1, 2018), a crowd of 8,874 attended the game between Sacramento/Las Vegas (Sacramento, 5-1).  The 51s hosted Tucson in the inaugural “school day” game on May 6, 2004, before a crowd of 4,224.

The Tobacco Awareness Program, through the Clark County School District, is an important event that takes place prior to the “School Day” game that serves to educate the young students on the dangers of cigarette smoking.

 THE MOB MUSEUM TO HOST NEW YEAR’S EVE IN THE UNDERGROUND

 

 

WHAT:
The Underground speakeasy and distillery at The Mob  Museum is now accepting reservations for New Year’s Eve. Guests can ring in 2019 the old-fashioned way with drink specials—including Giggle Water cocktails and glasses of champagne for $6 all day—live music by jazz duo The Old Fashions and a champagne toast at midnight. Guests can enjoy free entry through the speakeasy’s side door using the password “get zozzled!” Table reservations and VIP room reservations are also available.

Cheers to the New Year! Aquarius Casino Resort, located at 1900 South Casino Dr. in Laughlin, Nev., will count down to 2019 with a selection of celebratory offerings including parties, dining specials, travel packages and more on Monday, Dec. 31.

 

Dance the night away at the resort’s New Year’s Eve dance party hosted in the Aquarius Pavilion featuring live music, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. The celebration will begin at 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31 and is open to all guests.

 

The resort’s lounge, Splash, will count down to midnight with a celebration open to the public. Guests will enjoy live music performed by Chase and The Pursuit, party favors and a champagne toast, as the clock strikes midnight.

 

Festive party favors and a champagne will be distributed to guests on the on the casino floor just before a property-wide balloon drop at midnight.

 

Café Aquarius will offer a New Year’s Eve surf and turf dinner featuring a 16-ounce T-Bone steak and breaded shrimp served with bread and butter, salad, a seasonal vegetable medley, potatoes and dessert. The dinner will be available from 4 p.m. to midnight and is priced at $29.99 for nonmembers or $26.99 for ace|PLAY TM members.

 

The Vineyard will offer a decadent four-course dinner with choice of blackened shrimp cocktail or oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer; choice of  lobster bisque soup or citrus walnut salad for the second course; choice of toasted pine nut and herb crusted fillet with a sundried tomato béarnaise sauce, crab stuffed orange roughy with béarnaise sauce, or smoked herbed crusted turkey with bourbon cranberry glaze for the entrée. Guests may choose between Raspberry torte or chocolate elegance cake for dessert. The holiday dinner is priced at $41.99 for nonmembers or $37.79 for ace|PLAY TM members.

 

Across the casino, Windows on the River Buffet will feature a holiday spread of its own. In addition to classic buffet offerings, the restaurant will feature an assortment of specialty selections for the holiday including prime rib, fresh blackened salmon, steamed clams and mussels, oysters Rockefeller, hot and cold crab legs, pork loin marsala, broiled New York steak, sea bass with lemon Beurre blanc and more. PT’s Taverns, will celebrate the new year by offering an extended happy hour, a champagne toast and giveaways at all 60 locations in the Las Vegas Valley and Nevada, including PT’s Pub, PT’s Gold, PT’s Ranch, PT’s Brewing Company, Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold and SG Bar, on Monday, Dec. 31.

 

PT’s Happy Hour will be available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. PT’s Happy Hour offers a 50 percent discount on drinks including wines by the glass, premium spirits and all craft and import beer, which includes PT’s own craft brews such as the Golden Hefeweizen and Hualapai IPA. Transforming into a glistening winter wonderland, Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens unveils its spectacular holiday display featuring picture-perfect botanical creations, a stately 42-foot-tall White Fir tree dripping with bright ornaments and a glamorous ice queen.

Now through January 6, 2019, visitors to the Conservatory will voyage through the arctic with an elegant ice queen as she travels on her horse-drawn carriage to a dramatic castle. Along the way, joyful elves, polar bear guardians and toy soldiers greet the ice queen. The holiday display, titled “Majestic Holiday Magic,” was designed by Ed Libby and the Bellagio Horticulture team, drawing inspiration from royal weddings.

In the center of it all, a magnificent holiday tree sends gazes soaring while musical sounds and seasonal colors evoke the holiday spirit. Decorated with 7,000 warm white lights and 2,500 ornaments, the 42-foot White Fir stands as the Conservatory’s focal point. A whimsical five-car toy train, equipped with a live camera, whirls on its tracks around the base of the tree. Guests will marvel at the glamourous ice queen dressed in a couture-inspired gown made from preserved red and white roses, silver palmetto leaves, fresh hydrangeas and Phalaenopsis orchids. Escorted by guardian polar bears, the queen brings gifts of joy and prosperity to guests from near and far.

Visitors continue their journey in the East Garden making their way through a European-themed carriage decorated with vintage lanterns, stylish draperies and a crystal chandelier. Luxurious red velvet upholstery and gilded embellishments complete the interior while tapioca pearls and other botanical materials cover the exterior. Two 12-foot herald trumpeters mark the entrance to the coach, which is pulled by four 12-foot-tall white horses dressed in their finest regalia. Two pearl-curtained windows present a perfect photo opportunity to capture precious holiday memories.

In the North Garden, the ice queen’s destination is a 28-foot opulent Gothic castle, which is surrounded by a moat and connected with a passageway inspired by New York’s Central Park Gothic Bridge. Standing guard at each corner of the bridge are four animated toy soldiers. Nearby, a pair of playful floral elves wave hello and stand among hundreds of colorful Poinsettias.

In the South Garden guests will find a polar bear family in its new glistening arctic environment, a gift from the queen for their service and loyalty. Tugging on the heartstrings of visitors young and old, two baby polar bears frolic among the icebergs as a third baby pops out of a box. Papa bear with a coat made of thousands of white hydrangeas watches with affection. To complete the seasonal theme, glimmering stars, an illuminated moon and red and green Polonaise tree toppers hang from the Conservatory’s all-glass ceiling, visible from every vantage point.
