Testicular Cancer Foundation with portion of proceeds from grooming
services throughout November donated to the non-profit.
The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, an upscale barbershop and Prohibition-era lounge inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, will donate a portion of proceeds from all haircuts and shaves in November to the Testicular Cancer Foundation to promote and support men’s health. Heading into the month of giving, The Barbershop will host a launch event starting at noon on Monday, Oct. 30, inviting men to receive a clean-up before the beginning of November.
Starting Wednesday Nov. 1 and lasting until Thursday, Nov. 30, the stylish barbershop will donate a portion of the proceeds from each service to the Testicular Cancer Foundation. At the end of the month on Thursday, Nov. 30, The Barbershop will invite participants to return for another clean up and to help announce the total raised throughout November. Reminiscent of days long past, The Barbershop offers haircuts, trims or facials from the some of the best barbers in Las Vegas, and services are priced starting at $20. A fully stocked and serviced bar is available to provide the complete old-school experience.
The Testicular Cancer Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to fighting the most common cancer in males ages 15-35. As the only full-time staffed testicular cancer group and leading provider of education materials in the country, their mission is to ensure every male knows the warning signs of the disease and how to perform a testicular self-exam.
After entering The Barbershop, visitors can step through an inconspicuous janitor’s door and into The Barbershop’s speakeasy-style lounge which features live music every night including “All Request Sundays,” where guests can help pick the set list; “Faded Karaoke” on Tuesdays, where guests can live out their rockstar dreams as a live band accompanies them; and “Wild West Wednesdays” featuring country rock music. The intimate nature of The Barbershop also means guests never know who might show and play a surprise set as Machine Gun Kelly, Gavin DeGraw, Zac Brown, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, among others, have given impromptu performances.
