THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS ANNOUNCES
Panic! At The Disco On Oct. 11 and Local Music Showcase on
Aug. 15 At The Boulevard Pool
Tickets on sale Friday, July 19 at 10 a.m.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas adds two concerts to the dynamic musical lineup at the Boulevard Pool, including Panic! At The Disco on Friday, Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. and a local artist showcase on Thursday, Aug. 15.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, July 19 at 10 a.m. PST and are available online at www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com or through Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000. General admission tickets are $26 for Panic! At The Disco and only $5 for the local music showcase (plus applicable taxes and service charges). A limited number of premium cabanas are also available by emailing [email protected] or by calling 702.698.7778. All shows are open to all-ages, and guests must be 21+ to reserve a cabana.

Comprised of Spencer Smith (drums), Brendon Urie (guitar/vocals) and Dallon Weekes (bass), Panic! At The Disco’s roots coming of age in Las Vegas loom large on the band’s fourth album Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!. From its glittery synth-based, drum-heavy sound, to its playful, celebratory subject matter, to the Rat Pack-inspired imagery on the cover, to the title itself (a line from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas author Hunter S. Thompson), the album finds the band, for the first time in its nearly 10-year career, owning up to loving their hometown. Urie promises their upcoming tour will be as big a spectacle as the tours they’ve launched for their previous albums, 2005’s double-platinum A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, 2008’s Pretty. Odd. (which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Album chart), and Vices & Virtues, which debuted at No. 7 and racked up critical accolades.

The local showcase will be held as part of Boulevard Pool’s Set Your Life to Music Series, and will feature performances by GoldBoot, The McManus Project and The Dirty Hooks. As the sun sets over The Strip each Thursday night, the Boulevard Pool deck comes to life with the energy of Las Vegas during the Set Your Life to Music series. From the aroma of the outdoor grills to the sounds of hand-crafted cocktails being stirred, guests can revel in the spirit of music at the intimate outdoor venue. Doors open at 7 p.m. with celebrated DJ Mike Attack spinning before the bands take the stage at 8 p.m.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features artists at the forefront of the touring world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements coupled with spectacularly-designed, technology-driven venues. The excitement of live-music and sports action spills onto the casino floor from Book & Stage, an upscale sports and entertainment lounge, while live DJs fill the rhythmic and vibrant hot-spot BOND with the best in house-music. Finally, The Chandelier, a dramatic inhabitable three-story architectural wonder, created by 2 million luminous crystals, houses three unique bar experiences: high-energy hot spot, sophisticated cocktail retreat and inviting lounge. Perched high above the Las Vegas Strip, the Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of both the stage and The Strip by night.
