The interactive spectacle kicked off with a side-splitting opening including a star-studded red carpet featuring comedic powerhouses Amber Nash, Johnathan Mangum and Brad Sherwood
Last night, the hilariously interactive comedy experience HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis hosted its highly anticipated debut at the Harrah’s Showroom inside Harrah’s Las Vegas. To commemorate the show’s arrival to the famed Strip, co-creators Asad Mecci, and Colin Mochrie hit the red carpet as they posed for photos and welcomed guests as they arrived. Adding to the excitement, fellow comedy stars Amber Nash from the hit animated series “Archer” and newest HYPROV improvisor, and “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” alumnus Johnathan Mangum and Brad Sherwood joined Mecci and Mochrie on the red carpet. The night ended with a celebratory champagne toast with Asad Mecci and wife, Sarah, Colin Mochrie, Amber Nash, and HYPROV music director John Hilsen.

Conceived by comedy genius Colin Mochrie of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and master hypnotist Asad Mecci, HYPROV (pronounced hip-rawv) is a one-of-a-kind fusion of improv and hypnosis, delivering a truly unparalleled audience experience. HYPROV stars world-renowned hypnotist Asad Mecci alongside a rotating, all-star cast that includes Colin Mochrie and Amber Nash from “Archer.” The show has previously featured Stephanie Courtney, Jonathan Magnum, Barret Foa, and Jeff Hiller, so you never know which superstar will make an appearance. During the 85-90 minute extravaganza, Mecci welcomes 20 volunteers on stage to be hypnotized, with the most receptive individuals joining all-star improvisers to perform the rest of the show while fully under hypnosis. With Mecci and a skilled improviser masterfully orchestrating the performance, the audience is taken on a rollercoaster ride through the volunteers’ uninhibited, unconscious minds, leaving everyone doubled over with laughter.
