The Shade Tree’s Once Upon a Gala:
October 12 at Resorts World Las Vegas

WHAT: The Shade Tree, a 24-hour accessible emergency shelter and resource center designed to specifically meet the needs of domestic violence and human trafficking survivors and their children, announces the much-anticipated return of its annual fundraising event on Thursday, Oct. 12. Once Upon a Gala, the fairytale-inspired event, will once again take place at Resorts World Las Vegas in the Zouk Nightclub space.
Tickets are available now for purchase:
- $200 a ticket: includes access into the gala at 7 p.m., unlimited small bites and libations from various culinary and beverage stations, photo opportunities, entertainment and more. This ticket is standing room only.
- $275 a ticket: includes exclusive access to the poolside VIP Secret Garden Soiree at 5:30 p.m. where guests will enjoy small bites, libations and entertainment, followed by entry to the gala at 7 p.m. to enjoy unlimited small bites and libations from various culinary and beverage stations, photo opportunities, entertainment and more. This ticket is standing room only.
- $350 a ticket: includes access into the gala at 7 p.m., unlimited small bites and libations from various culinary and beverage stations, photo opportunities, entertainment and more. This ticket includes seating at an assigned, shared booth in the upper section of the venue.
- $450 a ticket: includes exclusive access to the poolside VIP Secret Garden Soiree at 5:30 p.m. where guests will enjoy small bites, libations and entertainment, followed by entry to the gala at 7 p.m. to enjoy unlimited small bites and libations from various culinary and beverage stations, photo opportunities, entertainment and more. This ticket includes open seating during the Secret Garden Soiree and seating at an assigned, shared booth in the upper section of the venue during the gala.
All ticket sale proceeds will support the mission of The Shade Tree to support survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking and/or homelessness and their children with life-changing services that promote stability, dignity and self-reliance.

ABOUT THE SHADE TREE
The Shade Tree, a 35-year Southern Nevada nonprofit, is a 24-hour accessible emergency shelter for domestic violence and human trafficking survivors and their children. The Shade Tree partners with Noah’s Animal House, located on the organization’s campus, to provide pet services for its clients. The Shade Tree facility offers residential areas with sleeping rooms, a children’s activity center, meals, and other services. Additionally, it offers case management and programs to in-house and off-site clients including workforce readiness, health services, and housing assistance.
