FIESTA HENDERSON TAKES A TWIST ON CELEBRATING ST. PATRICK
WITH A WINE DINNER
While beer and whiskey are synonymous with St. Patrick’s Day, Fiesta Henderson is taking a creative turn with an upscale wine dinner on March 12. Coppola Diamond Collection wines will be paired with original Irish-themed cuisine at Fuego Steakhouse. The cost is only $45, which includes all of the courses and pairings.
The menu:
Starter
Irish soda bread with Dubliner cheese.
Pairing: Pinot Noir
First Course
Irish potato bacon and mussel soup.
Pairing: Chardonnay
Second Course
Blarney salad with bibb lettuce, mesclun greens, blarney cheese with berries and a light herb vinaigrette.
Pairing: Malbec
Main Course
Tenderized braised lamb shanks in a hearty Guinness mint sauce, served with roasted vegetables.
Pairing: Cabernet Sauvignon
Dessert
Irish coffee caramel mousse made with Bailey’s.
Pairing: Merlot
