Presenting a striking resemblance to the living legend, Annika Starander Weaver brings the essence of Cher in her looks, outfits and performances. The Swedish performer started her professional training at a young age, attending John Kincade’s “Stage School” followed by her attendance of the prestigious Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California.

 

Annika’s love for performing on stage every night shines through as she brings joy to audiences with her Cher Tribute act. Performing fan-favorite songs like “I Got You, Babe” and “Believe”. Starander Weaver’s talent has earned her recognition in the entertainment industry, including being featured on Jimmy Fallon’s TV Show “Clash Of The Cover Bands” and on E! Entertainment.

With 16 studio albums and more than 50 years of hits to their name, April Wine’s imprint on the rock music scene began in 1969 in Nova Scotia, Canada. The group enjoyed initial mainstream success with their second album “On Record,” which received Gold status in 1972. The album’s first single “You Could Have Been a Lady” topped the Canadian charts at No. 1 and remained on the U.S charts for 11 straight weeks, cracking the Top-30. The band continued to record hits throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s, including “I Like to Rock,” “Roller,” “Sign of the Gypsy Queen,” “Tonight is a Wonderful Time to Fall in Love” and “The Whole World’s Goin’ Crazy.”

 

April Wine continued to rock well into the ‘80s with the release of 1981’s “The Nature of The Beast,” the group’s ninth and most successful album to date. Their hit single “Just Between You and Me” broke the Top-20 in the U.S. and remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 16 weeks. “Nature of The Beast” went on to become an international success, selling more than one million copies and going platinum in the U.S. and double-platinum in Canada. In 2010, April Wine was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

The Whispers

Formed in 1964 in Los Angeles, California, The Whispers rose to fame with their heartfelt classics and celebrated R&B ballads. Throughout their career, the group has released a string of hit singles, including “Rock Steady,” “And the Beat Goes On,” “It’s A Love Thing,” “Lady,” “Seems Like I Gotta Do Wrong,” “Innocent,” “Tonight” and “One for the Money.”

 

The Whispers have enjoyed major success with seven gold albums, two platinum albums, 12 Top 20 singles and 40 top-charting hits since 1970. In 2003, The Whispers were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and won the Rhythm and Blues Foundation’s Pioneer Award in 2008. The group was later inducted into The Soul Music Hall of Fame in 2012 and The Official R&B Music Hall of Fame in 2014.

Canadian-based brother duo Bob and Clint Moffatt make up the band Music Travel Love. The brothers started performing at the age of four with their two other brothers. The Moffatts were signed to PolydorRecords in Nashville and became the youngest band to ever sign a major label record deal.

 

While the band split in 2001, Bob and Clint continued with their passion for performing and songwriting. In 2018, Bob and Clint released a series of traveling music videos, which they titled “Music Travel Love.” Combining their love for music, travel and family, the duo has been traveling across the world in search of the most beautiful destinations where they would film videos featuring nostalgic cover songs and their own originals.

The Manhattans

Formed in 1962, The Manhattans began writing and singing their doo-wop-influenced hits, releasing their first single “For the Very First Time” in 1964. The Manhattans went on to reinvent their sound, creating smooth R&B and soul ballads in the ‘70s. After lead singer Smith became ill, the band recruited Gerald Alston as the new lead vocalist of the group. Together, the band released several top-charting songs, including their Platinum-selling No. 1 hit “Kiss and Say Goodbye.”

 

The Manhattans continued their success with the release of their hit ballads “There’s No Me Without You,” “Don’t Take Your Love,” “I Kinda Miss You” and “Hurt,” as well as with the songs “Feels So Good,” and “You’re My Life.” In 1980, the group won a Grammy Award for their hit single “Shining Star,” and were also inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame in 1999. The group’s current members, Gerald Alston, David Tyson and Troy May continue to perform their best-loved hits across the United States.

Contemporary urban jazz artist and accomplished saxophonist Gerald Albright has been impressing fans with his signature smooth sound for more than 30 years. Throughout his career, Albright has released a total of 19 albums, starting with his debut album, “Just Between Us,” in 1987. Since then, he’s been a core part of the jazz genre, contributing chart-topping albums and countless radio hits.

 

Audiences will enjoy performances of Albright’s new hits, including a new rendition of the hit single “Sooki Sooki,” “Chips N’ Salsa,” “New Beginnings,” “Come Back to Me,” and favorite classics like “Smooth.”

The long-running dinner show Marriage can be Murder will launch their “Blame it on the DNA” fall series.
