CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK’S DAY AT SOUTH POINT HOTEL, CASINO AND SPA, MARCH 17

South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday, March 17 with specialty menus from Coronado Café and Garden Buffet.

 

Coronado Café will serve festive specials that include St. Patrick’s Benedict, made with grilled sourdough bread with sliced corned beef and two poached eggs crowned with creamed spinach hollandaise sauce from 7 a.m.—10 a.m. From 7 a.m.—10 p.m. guests can enjoy Guinness Marinated Sirloin Steak with two eggs, boxty potato cakes and Irish soda bread.

 

A two-course meal will be available from 11 a.m.—10 p.m. will be available for $17.95. The meal will include O’Flaherty’s Split Pea Soup or Emerald Isle Salad Bowl and Corned Beef and Cabbage with boiled potatoes and carrots or the “Irish” Reuben, corned beef on grilled sourdough bread with braised cabbage, Kerry Gold cheese, watercress and potato salad and pot of golf mustard cream. Finish with dessert and try the Bread Pudding, with Jameson Irish whiskey sauce ($3.95), Bailey’s Irish cream and coffee ($2) or a bottle of Guinness Draught ($3).

 

Garden Buffet will serve a brunch buffet for $26.95 (with a Club card) or $39.95 (without a Club Card) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Limited breakfast items and bottomless mimosas will be served until 3 p.m.

  • Breakfast items: Eggs and omelets cooked to order, eggs benedict and Florentine, pancakes, waffles and French toast, “full Irish breakfast station.”
  • Country Garden Salad Bar: Shamrock salad with Kathleen’s cream dressing, Limerick BLT tossed salad, O’Caesars tossed salad, O’Flaherty’s split pea soup, cream of spinach soup with toasted almonds.
  • Carving station: Roast prime rib, rotisserie thyme and lemon chicken, freshly roasted turkey, Dublin city smoked pork ribs
  • Featuring: Corned beef and cabbage, leprechaun boiled potatoes and Shillelagh carrots, Emerald Isle Irish lamb stew, dingle bay seafood casserole, Mother Reilly’s chicken stew, salmon with Watercress cream cause, Guinness braised beef steak.
  • Desserts: Chocolate mint cream pie, “Blarney Stone” cookies, honey glazed warm apple cobbler, bread budding with Jameson’s Irish whiskey sauce, pot o’ gold sundae
  • Also serving from six live international cooking stations.

Garden Buffet will serve a dinner buffet for $26.95 (with a Club card) or $39.95 (without a Club Card) from 4—9 p.m. and will include two glasses of wine, sangria or draft beer.

  • Dinner items: O’Flaherty’s split pea soup, cream of spinach soup with toasted almonds, Galway Bay seafood chowder
  • Country Garden Salad Bar: Shamrock salad with Kathleen’s cream dressing, Limerick BLT tossed salad, O’Caesars tossed salad, O’Flaherty’s split pea soup, cream of spinach soup with toasted almonds.
  • Carving Station: Roast Prime Rib, Rotisserie thyme with lemon chicken, roast stuffed loin of pork with whiskey gravy.
  • Featuring: Corned beef and cabbage, leprechaun boiled potatoes and Shillelagh carrots, Emerald Isle Irish lamb stew, dingle bay seafood casserole, Mother Reilly’s chicken stew, salmon with Watercress cream cause, Guinness braised beef steak.
  • Action station cooked to order: Fresh fillet of salmon with watercress cream
