On Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26, South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will celebrate with specialty menus available at six of the resort’s award-winning restaurants, Baja Miguel’s, Coronado Café, Don Vito’s, Garden Buffet, Primarily Prime Rib and Silverado Steak House. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online at southpointcasino.com/dining.

 

Baja Miguel’s will serve a three-course meal with a complimentary glass of wine or margarita for $22.95 per person from 2 to 9 p.m., including:

  • Appetizers: chicken tortilla soup or turkey flautas mole with shredded turkey rolled in corn tortillas with mole sauce or Salad Fiesta, chopped romaine with corn, tomatoes, black olives, grated cheese and topped with tortilla strips and salsa ranch dressing.
  • Entrées: traditional home-style roast turkey with giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, maple-glazed yams, Brussel sprouts and cranberry relish or halibut Veracruz, a 8-ounce filet served on a bed of sauteed zucchini with Veracruz sauce, cilantro rice and fresh vegetables
  • Desserts: pumpkin flan with seasonal berries or pumpkin pie. Guests may have dessert served à la mode for an additional $1.

 

Coronado Café will serve a three-course meal with a complimentary glass of wine or margarita for $16.95 per person from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. including:

  • Appetizers: Thanksgiving salad bowl, chopped romaine and iceberg lettuce with diced tomatoes, roasted corn, cranberries, candied pecans and a choice of dressing or butternut squash and corn bisque
  • Entrées: traditional home-style roast turkey with giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon gold mashed potatoes or maple-glazed yams, Brussel sprouts and cranberry relish or honey-glazed ham with Crown Royal sauce, glazed yams, roast chateau or Yukon gold mashed potatoes with green beans or grilled fillet of salmon topped with Sherry butter sauce, over wild rice with green beans and corn.
  • Desserts: warm apple and cranberry dumpling with crème anglaise or pumpkin pie. Guests may have dessert served à la mode for an additional $1.

 

Don Vito’s will serve a three-course meal with a complimentary glass of wine or cocktail for $41 per person from 2 to 9 p.m., including:

  • Appetizers: autumn farro salad, baby kale salad with ancient grains with cranberries, toasted walnuts, pumpkin seeds, parmesan cheese and tossed in Italian vinaigrette or warm ricotta cheese with prosciutto crostini or arancini Roma filled with goat cheese in spicy marinara sauce
  • Entrées: herb-roasted young turkey with giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon gold creamed potatoes, maple-glazed yams, baked acorn squash with cranberry relish and green beans or Sicilian braciola, flank steak rolled with breadcrumbs, pecorino cheese and baby spinach simmered in tomato demi glaze and served with a side of pasta and seasonal vegetables or halibut San Sebastian, poached in seafood broth with clams and fresh herbs and served with lemon risotto and seasonal vegetables.
  • Desserts: pumpkin pie with whipped cream or Italian apple cake with crème anglaise or pavlova with lemon curd and fresh fruit.

 

Garden Buffet will serve a three-course meal with two complimentary glasses of draft beer, wine or champagne for $22.95 per person or $19.95 per person for Club members from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., including:

  • Appetizers: salad bar with seasonal and house-made salads, seasonal fruits and ferries with yogurt, chicken tortilla soup, butternut squash soup, white bean chili, peel-and-eat shrimp, sushi
  • Entrées: traditional home-style roast turkey with all the trimmings, slow-roasted prime rib, rotisserie lemon pepper chicken, roast salmon with wild grains and cranberries, port cutlets with Chasseur sauce, house-smoked brisket enchiladas, smoked ham with raisin and bourbon glaze, Louisiana jambalaya, chicken cassoulet, golden fried shrimp, hickory-smoked pork ribs, Mongolian grill cooked to order, Chinese scallops kung pao style, harvest fresh vegetables and roast baby potatoes
  • Desserts: gelato and sorbet bar, pumpkin pie, fruit and cream pies, gateaus and torts, apple and cranberry cobbler

 

Primarily Prime Rib will serve a three-course meal with a complimentary glass of wine or cocktail for $39 per person from 2 to 9 p.m., including:

  • Appetizers: harvest salad, romaine and Boston lettuce with slice pears, cranberries, candied pecans and white apple cider vinaigrette or New England-style seafood with shrimp, scallops, crab meat and mushrooms folded in sherry cream sauce and served in a pastry or ginger chicken salad on crostini, shredded rotisserie chicken folded with pickled ginger on a crisp crostini or butternut squash and corn bisque.
  • Entrées: herb-roasted young turkey with giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon gold creamed potatoes, maple-glazed yams, baked acorn squash with cranberry relish and green beans or roast prime rib of beef, 10 ounce, dry aged and slowly cooked, served with a choice of chateau or Yukon gold mashed potatoes or green beans or chicken Maryland, sauteed chicken breast with corn pancake, grilled tomato and grilled bacon, served with chicken jus and with a choice of chateau or Yukon gold mashed potatoes or green beans or grilled Pacific salmon over sauteed zucchini with squash, toasted almonds and smoked almond butter, served with a choice of chateau or Yukon gold mashed potatoes or green beans or bone-in pork chop topped with sauteed tomatoes, mushrooms, shallots and Crown Royal Apple demi and served with a choice of chateau or Yukon gold mashed potatoes or green beans or dry aged sirloin steak, broiled 10 ounce. New York steak with cipollini onions and bourbon demi, served with a choice of chateau or Yukon gold mashed potatoes or green beans.
  • Desserts: warm apple and pecan tart with crème anglaise or pumpkin pie with whipped cream or chocolate mousse cake with seasonal berries.

 

Silverado Steak House will serve a four-course meal with a complimentary bottle of the wine of the month for every two adults for $59 per person from 3 to 9 p.m., including:

  • First Course: chilled shrimp cocktail with Louise rose sauce or leek and wild mushroom au gratin, sautéed leeks and sliced mushrooms folded in white cheddar cheese with parmesan crostini or beef satay grilled with a merlot reduction sauce and quinoa salad.
  • Second Course: harvest salad, romaine and Boston lettuce with slice pears, cranberries, candied pecans and white apple cider vinaigrette or Silverado salad bowl with champagne dressing and tossed tableside.
  • Third Course: herb-roasted young turkey with giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon gold creamed potatoes, maple-glazed yams, baked acorn squash with cranberry relish and green beans or tournedos Rossini, grilled center cut filet topped with foie gras and madeira sauce or honey and maple-glazed ham with Crown Royal Maple gravy and spinach-stuffed tomato and served with roast chateau or whipped potatoes or New England Halibut, poached in Samuel Adams IPA broth and topped with shrimp and crab in a cream sauce with asparagus and served with roast chateau or whipped potatoes.
  • Desserts: chocolate mousse cake or pumpkin pie with whipped cream or baked granny Smith apples filed with cranberries and pecans and crème anglaise.

 

Regular menus will be available at Coronado Café, Don Vito’s and Garden Buffet. Prices do not include tax or gratuity and guests must be over 21 to enjoy the complimentary alcoholic beverages. Guests are required to follow social distancing guidelines and per the Governor’s mandate, six people are permitted per table. Reservations are encouraged.
