May is National Museum Month and Downtown Grand Las Vegas is celebrating the neighborhood’s vibrant cultural community by introducing a special “Grand Museums” package good through August 31.

Beginning at $93 per night (two-night minimum), guests will receive a deluxe room for two, two tickets to The Mob Museum and a choice of either two tickets to the Neon Museum or two tickets to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. The Mob Museum is located across Stewart Avenue from Downtown Grand, and a hotel shuttle is available to transfer guests to the Neon Museum and Las Vegas Natural History Museum, both located a few blocks away on Las Vegas Boulevard North.

“We couldn’t be more proud to be part of such a culturally dynamic community,” said Seth Schorr, CEO, Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino. “It’s our hope all our guests get out and explore our nearby museums and other distinctive attractions—not only during the month of May, but throughout the year.”

In addition, Downtown Grand will partner with The Mob Museum to offer two summer packages that will be available beginning in May through September, based on availability. With prices starting at $170, the “Ain’t It Grand” package includes two room nights at Downtown Grand, dinner for two at Triple George Grill, drinks for two at MOB BAR or Art Bar and two tickets to The Mob Museum. The second package, dubbed “Oscar’s Vegas,” includes all these amenities, plus a private driving tour of downtown Las Vegas with the famous former Mob attorney and Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman, complete with a round of martinis. Priced at $10,000, this extraordinary experience may be reserved by calling The Mob Museum directly at (702) 229-2734.

The Mob Museum, the National Museum or Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, is a world-class destination in downtown Las Vegas dedicated to the thrilling story of organized crime and law enforcement. It presents an exciting and authentic view of the Mob’s impact on Las Vegas history and its unique imprint on the world. True stories of Mob history are brought to life in a bold and contemporary style via engaging exhibits, high-tech theater presentations and more than 600 artifacts, the largest collection of Mob and related law enforcement memorabilia under one roof.

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum’s mission is to inspire, through educational exhibits and programs, a better understanding and appreciation of the natural world, the sciences and ourselves. It is dedicated to educating the children, adults and families of the community in the natural sciences—both past and present. Through its interactive exhibits, educational programs and the preservation of its collections, the museum strives to instill an understanding and appreciation of the world’s wildlife, ecosystems and cultures.

Founded in 1996, the Neon Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic and cultural enrichment. In addition to an approximately two-acre Neon Museum campus, which includes the outdoor exhibition space known as the Neon Boneyard, the museum also encompasses a visitors’ center housed inside the former La Concha Motel lobby as well as nine restored signs installed as public art throughout downtown Las Vegas.
