Legacy Club’s Annual Derby Day Celebration
From the moment the gates open, guests will have a front-row seat to all of the horse-racing action 60 floors up with the return of Legacy Club’s annual Derby Day celebration.
Patrons can dress in their finest race-viewing attire, don a fabulous hat and immerse themselves in southern Derby Day traditions from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Circa’s luxurious rooftop lounge.

- Race Viewing: During the race, live audio will ensure attendees do not miss a minute of the race. High-definition TVs will be rolled into the venue for prime viewing of the race. - Derby Hat Contest – NEW this year: At Legacy Club, the fashion is as thrilling as the finish line itself. Festive racegoers can show off their biggest and best derby hat by competing in Legacy Club’s Derby Hat Contest where one winner and their fabulous sense of derby style will be awarded a $250 Legacy Club credit.
- Spritz & Mint Julep Bar: Patrons can enjoy an open bar with unlimited beer, wine, call spirits and select specialty cocktails. Additionally, they can quench their thirst at the spritz and Mint Julep bar – the best accompaniments for a day of classic race-viewing:
- Spritz Bar: Perfect for a hot, spring day, the drink is made with Aperol, prosecco and soda water.
- Mint Julep Bar: This iconic derby cocktail is composed of bourbon, sugar, mint and ice.
- Live Music: Live music will fill the venue and enhance the lively atmosphere of the celebration. Patrons can sing along to popular Derby Day top songs like “My Old Kentucky Home”, “Run For The Roses” and more.

Sportsbook Derby Day Delight
Guests can then giddy up and head on down to the world’s largest sportsbook for even more thrills as the race is broadcasted with full audio on the massive 78-million-pixel sportsbook screen. Viewers can catch the thrills of the race in a space that boasts stadium-style seating, luxury booths, tabletops and plush recliners.
Circa Sports will offer both pari-mutuel and fixed-odds betting on the derby for those who want to have their own “horse in the race” and potentially cash in on a piece of the most exciting two minutes in sports.
Any guest who places a wager of $25 or more on the Derby will receive a free Mint Julep, the bourbon cocktail best known for being the signature drink of the Derby.
Stadium Swim
Racegoers looking to cheer on their favorite jockey poolside can head on over to Stadium Swim beginning at 11 a.m. where the celebration will be in full swing all day. Guests can lounge poolside, reserve a private cabana or enjoy one of Stadium Swim’s comfortable seating arrangements that are all pointed directly at the action.
A true race-watching paradise, Stadium Swim features a massive high-resolution 40-foot-tall screen which will show the race with full audio.
