About Jake Rose – Fri., Oct. 15

“I make music for the front row, not music row” – Jake Rose

With 500+ shows under his belt, Country Rockstar Jake Rose is a seasoned performer who knows how to get fans on their feet, sell lots of beer and keep the party going!

Jake Rose is a singer songwriter from a pumpkin farm north of Minneapolis and former front man of Atlantic Records rock band “New Medicine”.  In Jake’s early years when he wasn’t baling hay and building fences, he could be found side stage at his Dad’s country band shows, “Stampede”.  While Jake toured the world with “New Medicine”, he soon realized the nature of his storytelling was a fit in the country genre.  Jake has written songs for FGL, Keith Urban, Colt Ford and Kid Rock.  His first single “Sleeves” debuted on CMT and The Highway and has over 4 million streams across digital platforms.  Jake’s new EP – “Tractor Town” is a compilation of songs that represent Jake’s roots and takes the listener to the heart of what it’s like to grow up in a tight knit farming community.   The Tractor Town EP co-produced with Grammy award winner Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban) and Kevin Kadish (“All About That Bass” creator) is available now.  Jake is also a proud supporter of the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Jake spent 2018 opening for Tim McGraw, Billy Currington, FGL, Eli Young Band, Russell Dickerson and LoCash to name a few. In 2019, Jake’s “Econoline Tour” included opening shows for Jon Pardi, Brad Paisley, Maren Morris, Kip Moore, Brett Eldredge, Dylan Scott and more.

Canaan Cox – Fri., Oct. 22

Canaan Cox is the definition of an entertainer. Canaan’s music has the energy of pop, a bit of R&B flare, and a strong foundation in contemporary country lyrics. This unique blend of genres is best showcased in “Lie,” the aggressive, rocking debut single that dropped fall of 2017. “Lie” appeared only 8 months after Canaan Cox moved to Nashville, which allowed him to quit his serving job and make music full time.

In just three months, “Lie” raced up Music Row’s Top 50, making it the chart’s most added song in 2017. This momentum carried over into his self-tilted EP, which was featured on iTunes Country for six weeks in a row. With this attention, Canaan was soon featured on premier country outlets like Whiskey Riff, The Boot, and Sounds Like Nashville.

Canaan’s musical abilities should come as no surprise, though, as he comes from such a musical household. His father blasted Conway Twitty records, his mother’s band played all over the southeast, and his seven sisters ensured he had his share of the boy bands.

Although Canaan is constantly touring, music isn’t the only thing that sets his soul on fire. He has a BFA in Musical Theatre and has every intention of putting his acting skills to work. Whether behind the camera or in front of it, Canaan has a deep passion for cinematography. Canaan’s involved in all aspects of production for his stand-out music videos, including directing, editing, choreography, and, of course, starring in them.

Releasing singles like, “Take My Time,” “Greener,” “Out of Nowhere,” and “Long Way Home,” Canaan has led his fans down a path of catchy and relatable hits. Despite being an indie artist, this lineup has earned him enough attention to book shows across the US and even headline his own overseas tours.

About Mark Mackay – Fri., Oct. 29

Sometimes, especially now, writers will discuss genre-bending music as if it’s a new thing. It’s not. First off, great music is timeless isn’t it? The best artists have always had the sense of what came before them. Mark Mackay’s music embodies that tradition; wielding a guitar that fuels his sound that can be measured with a bow to the legendary artists that came out Laurel Canyon in the 1960’s, 70’s, 80’s… and continues today.

Mark’s music links to the renowned acts who teetered the line between rock and country but were also full of soul: Neil Young, Poco, Jackson Browne, and on and on. Yet, Mark’s not been under a rock; his well-crafted songs from, “Leaving California,” “Somebody Else’s Everything,” and the ones he’s not even written yet, are up-to-date and current. His songs will feel like home for all fans of true music; from Zoomers to Boomers!

This past year has been a rough one; to put it mildly. But before the pandemic came crashing down, Mark was playing to huge crowds, stadium sized audiences, sharing the bill with artists who spanned the spectrum- from Blake Shelton to Ted Nugent to Old Dominion and Richie Sambora. Mark’s comfortable with all ends of that wide-ranging variety.
