Cabo Wabo Cantina Will Take a Shot and Pour a
Weeklong Celebration for National Tequila Day
Cabo Wabo Cantina, Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ Strip-side restaurant and patio, located at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, will turn up the tequila for a weeklong fiesta in honor of National Tequila Day, taking place Monday, July 21 through Sunday, July 27.
Cabo Wabo will offer a flight of Cantera Negra tequila, priced at $27.50, featuring blanco, reposado, añejo and café expressions. The flight will showcase the spirit’s flavor range, from crisp blanco and satiny reposado to silky añejo and sweet café.
Cabo Wabo will also feature its signature tequila cocktails, including the Cocorita, crafted with Santo Blanco tequila, lime juice and créme of coconut, served on the rocks with a freshly toasted coconut rim; and the Margaria Verde, made with Santo Blanco tequila, lime, fresh cucumber and cilantro, served on the rocks. The El Santo margarita, made with Santo Mezquila, the first tequila-mezcal blend, will bring the heat, combining freshly crushed jalapeños, orange and pineapple juices, chipotle pepper and agave, served on the rocks.
Cabo Wabo Cantina combines the relaxed, beach town vibe of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the thrill of the Las Vegas Strip. Crafted by Executive Chef Tacho Kneeland, the menu features coastal Mexican cuisine with a mouthwatering mix of fresh flavors including Sammy’s Tequila Shrimp, made with Baja shrimp and a housemade tequila-lime sauce; and fiesta-worthy shareables like fundido de queso con chorizo, made with a blend of Oaxaca, Asiago, Cotija and provolone cheeses; among other crowd favorites.
