FIFTEEN LOCAL MIXOLOGISTS COMPETE IN ROCK ‘N ROLL COCKTAIL COMPETITION AT HYDE BELLAGIO ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 22
Competitors Battle for Votes with Innovative Cocktail Recipes
Hyde Bellagio will host 15 Las Vegas mixologists Thursday, Aug. 22 when they create original cocktail recipes using one requisite ingredient: Bacardi’s DEWAR’S® Highlander Honey whiskey.
Beginning at 7 p.m., Hyde invites guests to mingle at the fountain-side hot spot and sip samples of each contender’s unique DEWAR’S® Highlander Honey concoction. Guests also will be asked to cast their votes for their favorite libation to crown the ultimate winner. The mixologist with the fan-favorite recipe will walk away with bragging rights and up to $2,000.
The event is part of CocktailCityVegas.com’s Rock ‘N Roll Cocktail Competition Series – a series of bartending battles challenging local mixologists to develop inventive cocktail recipes that incorporate a partnering liquor label.
After the winner is announced, Hyde will welcome guests to continue their evening with Peter Love Band and “Live Music Thursdays,” a weekly high-energy lounge night featuring the acoustic sounds of local artists.
