Fremont Street Experience and 95.5 The Bull are pleased to announce ‘Country’s Next Big Thing’ will return for its latest installment on Tuesday, July 11 with a free performance by MaRynn Taylor on the 1st Street Stage at 7pm. Country’s Next Big Thing represents a first of its kind collaboration between Fremont Street Experience and 95.5 The Bull. The music franchise was created to provide a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform and share their talent with the masses.
Named one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” (2023), country music’s tiny new powerhouse is a reflection of her generation. Her EP “Something I Would Do” (Black River), provides a glimpse into the 21-year-old’s world, with each track offering snapshots of her present and past and is available now.
The radio ready “Every Single Summer” reflects on a youthful MaRynn spending carefree days on Lake Michigan, playing outside and hanging with friends, and her latest flirty new single, “Make You Mine” debuted this spring.
With a dream to be a country music star, she eventually moved to Nashville, where a chance encounter at the 2019 CMA Music Festival gave her the break she needed—an impromptu performance after Black River Entertainment’s 60 Second Spotlight event had already closed for the day. She has since hit the road to share the songs that are so close to her heart with fans and hear their personal stories too.
Past ‘Country’s Next Big Thing’ performances include Dalton Dover, sister duo Tigirlily Gold and singer-songwriter Jackson Dean. Throughout the year, Fremont Street Experience and 95.5 The Bull will periodically bring in up and coming country stars for a series of free performances.
