Second Annual “Take Me Out to Vegas” to Transform World’s Largest Sportsbook into Ultimate Baseball Hub Featuring “Moms Drink Free” Special, All-American Ballpark Eats, Baller Dream Foundation Fundraiser and More
Batter up! Grab your Coney Dogs and apple pie, the “Take Me Out to Vegas” experience will return to the world’s largest sportsbook at Circa Resort & Casino for baseball’s opening day on March 28. Transforming the book into a true baseball hub, the day will feature a ceremonial first pitch from baseball legend, Greg Maddux, a “Moms Drink Free” special, classic ballpark eats from American Coney Island, a fundraiser for Baller Dream Foundation and more.
With the space decorated to look like an All-American baseball stadium, guests can catch all 15 opening day games on the sportsbook’s 78-million-pixel screen. The “Take Me Out to Vegas” starting lineup includes:
- First Pitch Ceremony Featuring Greg Maddux: To kick the day off, Maddux will accompany Circa’s vice president of operations Mike Palm during a spectacular first pitch ceremony. The moment will take place on an official mound in front of the sportsbook. The ceremony begins at 9:50 a.m., with the first game of Milwaukee and New York starting at 10:10 a.m.
- American Coney Island Coney Dogs: Vendors will bring stadium fare to fans, including American Coney Island’s world-famous coney dogs. The Coney Dog comprises of a high-quality, specially seasoned Dearborn sausage hotdog, smothered in secret recipe chili sauce and topped with fine mustard and sweet chopped onions.
- Complimentary Apple Pie: Pair baseball’s opening day with an All-American sweet treat. Vendors will hand out complimentary crisp and golden apple pie slices in the spirit of game day.
- Moms Drink Free: On March 28, all MVP moms can drink for free! Beverages include service from Circa’s cocktail servers and a selection of beers from traditional style beer hawkers.
- Seating Options: Fans can book a variety of seating options within the sportsbook, including:
- Circa Sports Suites: Private suites include tables, chairs and video poker machines for up to 12 people.
- Champions Club: The Champions Club section includes family-style seating in the center of the sportsbook.
- Circa Club Upper: Get a bird’s-eye view of the book with a spot in the Circa Club Upper section. Each table gives viewers a space to enjoy top-notch service and luxury booth seating.
- Circa Club Lower: These tables in the Circa Club Lower section are perfect for medium-to-large groups.
- Legends Club: Spectators can get a front-row view with plush recliners in the Legends Club, located directly in front of the book’s screen.
- Stadium Style: Watch the games like you are in a true baseball stadium, with comfortable, open-style grandstand seating.

- Baller Dream Foundation Mystery Bag Fundraiser and Raffle: Maddux will return to Circa for the second annual Baller Dream Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament, April 27-28. During Take Me Out to Vegas, Baller Dream Foundation will hold a “Mystery Bag” fundraiser and raffle. Guests are invited to donate and receive a mystery prize, ranging from memorabilia such as signed baseballs, trading cards and jerseys; along with Circa experiences including Stadium Swim passes; drinks at Legacy Club or Vegas Vickie’s Cocktail Lounge; meals at Saginaw’s Delicatessen or Victory Burger & Wings Co.; and more. Additionally, guests can purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a signed Greg Maddux jersey.
