JON DORENBOS, INSPIRATIONAL KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND MAGICIAN, TO GUEST HOST AMERICA’S GOT TALENT LAS VEGAS LIVE AT LUXOR IN LAS VEGAS, AUGUST 18 – SEPTEMBER 11
Jon Dorenbos, the beloved top three finalist on Season 11 of the top-rated television show America’s Got Talent, will guest host the larger-than-life variety production America’s Got Talent Las Vegas LIVE at Luxor Hotel and Casino, August 18 – September 11. As part of an incredibly talented cast comprised of previous winners, finalists, golden buzzer acts and fan-favorite talent, the former Philadelphia Eagles long snapper will dazzle audiences five nights a week with his magical act and magnetic personality.
Following open-heart surgery that forced him into retirement from the National Football League, Dorenbos continued pursuing the passion for magic that he initially demonstrated on his season of AGT. After further mastering his craft, he went on to compete on Season One of America’s Got Talent: The Champions, sharing his moving story while captivating fans with his mind-bending card tricks. In addition to performing magic, Dorenbos regularly takes the stage as a professional keynote speaker, motivating audiences nationwide with his powerful and inspirational story while incorporating illusions into his engaging message.
“I’m super stoked to be headlining AGT Las Vegas LIVE as a guest host. This limited residency at Luxor is going to give me the unique opportunity to bring my interactive, high energy magic routines to a Vegas show that I am confident will complement a talented cast of past AGT winners and favorites. I have been fortunate to share the stage with presidents and superstars, traveling the world as a sought-after keynote speaker – but returning to the theater on The Strip in Vegas? It doesn’t get any better than that.”
Dorenbos was the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2016 nominee for the prestigious NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year award, was selected to the 2009 and 2014 Pro Bowls, and in 2018 was awarded an honorary Super Bowl ring by the Philadelphia Eagles for his long tenure and significant contribution to the franchise. He published his autobiography, “Life is Magic,” in 2019, highlighting his uplifting journey of perseverance, the life-or-death challenges he’s faced and his optimistic outlook on life. A major motion picture, based on Jon’s book, produced by acclaimed Hollywood producer, Mike Tollin (Varsity Blues, Coach Carter, Radio, The Last Dance) is currently in the works. Inspired by his compelling story, Ellen DeGeneres made Dorenbos a special host for a series of episodes on her hit daytime talk show, on which he appeared 25 times.
