Get ready for a fresh month of vibrant programming at The District at Green Valley Ranch. This May, The District — Henderson’s premier lifestyle destination for dining, shopping and entertainment — welcomes the return of its popular weekly free movies and fitness classes on The Green.
Guests can also enjoy a dynamic lineup of special promotions and events from some of the center’s most beloved tenants. Highlights include a seasonal menu refresh from North Italia, a special partnership event hosted by The Lash Lounge, “Buenos Días” with the Nevada Hispanic Business Group, and Home Means Nevada’s 20th anniversary celebration.
In addition, The District continues to host its staple community favorites such as the weekly farmers market, Fit4Mom Stroller Strides and monthly artisan market, The Makers Hive Market.
And just in time for warmer weather, the Splash Pad is now open for the season. Located in The Courtyard, the Splash Pad offers a fun and refreshing experience for kids to splish-splash and jump around.

Me Gusta Tacos Mariachi Fiesta – Saturday, May 4
Me Gusta Tacos will host a Mariachi Fiesta on Saturday, May 4, from 1-4 p.m., offering guests a lively afternoon of traditional music, flavorful bites, and festive specials. The event will feature live performances by a mariachi band, creating a vibrant atmosphere to kick off the Cinco de Mayo weekend. Attendees can enjoy $5 food and drink specials available exclusively during the event, making it an ideal stop for a quick bite or a full celebration.
The Maker’s Hive Market – Saturday, May 10
Join The District for The Makers Hive Market, a free family- and dog-friendly event showcasing local small businesses and unique retail shops on Saturday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main St. Experience a vibrant shopping atmosphere filled with handcrafted goods, artisanal treats and more.
Movies on The Green – Saturday, May 10 through Saturday, June 14
Movies on The Green returns to The District beginning Saturday, May 10. The free weekly outdoor movie series will run every Saturday from 6-9 p.m. through June 14.
Presented in partnership with local nonprofit organizations, each screening will feature a fan-favorite film on The Green. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and snacks to enjoy the experience. The upcoming lineup includes:
- May 10 | Wicked (in partnership with Las Vegas Rescue Mission and CARE Chest), featuring special guest appearances by Glinda and Elphaba
- May 17 | Guardians of the Galaxy (in partnership with Kinsella Angels and Friends of Henderson Animal Support)

Bark in The Park – Saturday, May 17
The District prides itself on giving back to the local community and will continue to do so as they partner with local charities for Movies on The Green. On May 17, The District is partnering with Friends of Henderson Animal Support and will have on-site adoptions available from 6-10 p.m., with adoptable dogs ranging from puppies to frosted faces. Fitness on The Green – Sunday, May 18 through Sunday, June 15
The District will bring back free fitness classes on The Green every Sunday from May 18 through June 15, from 10-11 a.m. Led by some of The District’s best fitness tenants and instructors, each fitness class suits all levels and ages. The class schedule includes:

Fit4Moms Stroller Strides Classes – Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
Available each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9 a.m. on The Green behind Whole Foods, Stroller Strides is an interactive fitness class for moms and their babies. Each class is taught by a certified fitness instructor with specialty training in pre- and post-natal women, great for any level of exerciser.
Farmers Market at The District – Every Thursday
The District invites the Henderson community to its Farmers Market every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Main Street. Shoppers can enjoy a vibrant selection of freshly harvested produce, including seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as beauty products, jewelry and handcrafted goods from local artisans.

May Offers at King’s Fish House – Now through Saturday, May 31
King’s Fish House is offering a 10% discount on dining bills for all military personnel and employees of The District throughout May.
Plus, in celebration of Mother’s Day, King’s Fish House will open one hour early on Sunday, May 11, with special hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
May Offers at North Italia – Now through Saturday, May 31
North Italia is rolling out a refreshed menu this May, featuring new dishes and cocktails available during weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner service.
Additionally, to celebrate Mother’s Day, North Italia is offering a limited-time gift card promotion now through May 11. Guests who purchase a $100 gift card will receive a $20 bonus card, redeemable from May 12 through June 4.
