Unique Nobu-Inspired Couture Dresses Unveiled

Developed in collaboration with Nobu Hospitality and  Caesars Palace, the world’s-first Nobu Hotel Restaurant & Lounge has announced a fashionable partnership with L.A. Fashion Weekend; becoming the 2013 Title Sponsor of L.A.’s premier fashion week event. Having opened with great fanfare earlier this year, the Nobu Hotel has already been heralded as one of the Best New Hotels of 2013 by CNN, and Chef Nobu Matsuhisa has created a brand now known for both its culinary vision and innovation, as well as for its sophisticated new 181 room luxury boutique hotel at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. With his restaurants and hotel known worldwide as beacons of style and design, joining forces with L.A. Fashion Weekend makes for a perfect pairing.

“We couldn’t be more excited about having the world’s first-ever Nobu Hotel as our Title Sponsor this year,” says Mikey Koffman, Executive Producer, L.A. Fashion Weekend and Founder, The Gallery L.A. “Last year, we were able to exclusively introduce the hotel to the fashion industry via their sponsorship, and this year we are taking it to a new level with their Title Sponsor status. From the minute guests arrive, until they are seated for the runway show, all will be immersed in the Nobu Hotel concept – from guest check-in to the Sake bar to Nobu couture to a concierge desk where Fashion Weekend guests can book rooms in real time with a special code; this is truly the perfect partnership and we look forward to showcasing the Nobu experience at our event.”

To fully engage in the fashion experience, the Nobu Hotel has commissioned four unique couture dresses from rising L.A. design stars (and twins) Tara & Marlene Herrera, a design dynamic duo that produce under the name Le Mali Designs. Each of the dresses will be designed to capture the essence and esthetic of the Nobu Hotel, and they will be presented on the runway each evening, as well as being highlighted on special stages set throughout the Nobu Hotel Lounge.

Additionally, the Nobu Hotel will convert the L.A. Fashion Weekend Lounge into a Nobu Hotel branded experience. From Nobu-inspired design elements to uniforms to access into the Nobu Inner Circle, guests at L.A. Fashion Weekend will get a chic glimpse into the Nobu lifestyle. L.A. Fashion Weekend attendees will also be able to make reservations at Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace direct from the lounge, and take part in tastings of Nobu’s premier Sake as well as win special trip packages created exclusively for this event.

“Nobu has long been synonymous with style. Introducing the new boutique hotel to L.A. Fashion Weekend last year was so well-received, it seemed a natural partnership for us to pursue in a grander way again to bring style-savvy visitors an experiential peak into the Nobu lifestyle found within the world’s-first Nobu Hotel Restaurant and Lounge Caesars Palace Las Vegas,” said Gigi Vega, Vice President/General Manager Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace.

Featuring 181 rooms including 18 luxury suites, the first-ever Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace has brought forth a distinct Japanese elegance combined with a playful interpretation of the fun and energetic Nobu lifestyle. Guest rooms feature stylish interiors showcasing natural materials fused with Nobu’s signature Japanese elegance. The design of the boutique hotel’s rooms and suites embrace comfortable simplicity with natural materials and textures along with a touch of Vegas flair. Staying true to the Nobu aesthetic, the furniture reflects the influence of designers whose forms come directly from nature offering a modern comfort that is both elegant and casual.

Showcasing Nobu’s first-ever, in-room dining menu, exclusive amenities and guest privileges, Nobu Hotel is centrally located within Caesars Palace, at the heart of Las Vegas’ world-class entertainment, luxury shopping and gaming.
