Park on Fremont Will Bring the Funk to Fremont East with Exclusive Food and Beverage Events and Offerings
Park on Fremont, Corner Bar Management’s newly expanded garden bar and restaurant at 506 Fremont St., will elevate summer with the introduction of two experiences: bottomless mimosa brunch now available on Sundays; and a monthly celebration of craft beers with Funky Tap, beginning Thursday, July 27.
Every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Park on Fremont will host bottomless mimosas for brunch, set to the tune of live DJs. Priced at $30 per person, guests will be served endless pours of champagne to mix with a juice of their choice, including cranberry or orange; or the option to upgrade to strawberry, raspberry and peach for an additional $5. Park on Fremont’s brunch dishes include breakfast sandwiches on buttery croissants and crispy chicken with brown sugar waffles, in addition to its signature burgers and chicken sandwiches. From 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, Park on Fremont will launch Funky Tap, a new recurring event celebrating rare beers and ales. At each event, which will take place monthly on select dates, Park on Fremont will tap a unique keg for beer enthusiasts to enjoy along with sounds by a variety of DJs. The initial event will feature Firestone Walker’s Bramblin’ On My Mind, an American wild ale made with marionberries, and an all-vinyl set by Night Weapons, who will spin goth and Italo-disco sounds from Park on Fremont’s bespoke DJ booth. Bramblin’ On My Mind is an ode to the brewery’s original Barrelworks fruited wild ale, SLOambic, which was first produced in 2009 and became an instant classic. The new rendition boasts a jammy bouquet, followed by rich and opulent berry flavors and subtle oak tannins.
