Living through chaotic times and trying to make sense of it is nothing new to Authority Zero, the mythic Mesa, AZ, band that has combined punk, ska, reggae, surf-rock, prog-metal and even jazz into a musical melting pot that goes back a quarter-century to their roots on the local club scene. Authority Zero’s story goes back to playing five for $5 shows at local Mesa clubs like the Niles Theater, where several self-released demos and EPs caught the attention of local influencer radio station, KEDJ the Edge, which led to signing with Lava/Atlantic. That 2002 debut, A Passage In Time, was a success, selling more than a quarter million copies worldwide on airplay hits like “One More Minute,” which set the template for the Authority Zero approach – a dubwise reggae beat set over frenetic punk choruses and an art-metal interlude. Seven more studio albums – the last four self-released – followed along with three live acoustic albums and last year’s career-defining Live at The Rebel Lounge. The band’s audience has been remarkably loyal over the years, as the band has established itself in the still-vibrant ska-punk community which includes management stablemates like The Expendables and Ballyhoo! For Authority Zero, “One More Minute” has lasted for 26 years of great music, crazy times and plenty of fun along the way.

A little danger makes rock music memorable. The edges cut deep and hit just as hard as any hook does, leaving a mark forever. Tapping into the spirit of rebelliousness, OTHERWISE embrace those edges on their fourth full-length and debut for Mascot Label Group, Defy. They push the boundaries of their signature style in terms of both songcraft and sonic experimentation alike. Most importantly, the boys hold nothing back.

The Higher rode the wave of pop-rock stardom in the early 2000’s after sharing the stage with emo greats including Panic! At The Disco, Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Silverstein, and more. Their unique brand of rock fused with a hint of groove landed their fan-favorite ‘On Fire’ LP a #9 spot on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts, on heavy rotation on multiple MTV channels, and on the radar of top tastemakers including SPIN, Kerrang!, Fuse, and more. Now, the Epitaph Records alumni are taking everything they know from the major stages of their early days to shine brighter than ever for their comeback.

Letdown. While everyone else was learning to garden or make bread from scratch in 2020, Blake Coddington was busy finding a new way to musically express himself. The Chicago-based rocker launched Letdown. (period included), a new project that features his powerful range of vocals and deeply personal lyrics over catchy guitar hooks and hypnotizing drum beats. But while the songwriter — who could pass as Jason Momoa playing the lead role in a film about rock ‘n roll — may be a little facetious in the description of his own music, Coddington’s mental health struggles have served as a primary creative focus for Letdown. thus far. The Big Loud Rock artist is looking to share his experiences to let others know that they’re not alone in their own struggles, and he’s found a home already in large swathes of the internet. In just six months, Letdown. saw 500k followers on TikTok, more than 265k monthly listeners on Spotify, and nearly 100k on Instagram — and that’s before counting the 12+ million streams Coddington’s singles have picked up. Of course, the emotionally vulnerable rocker is fully aware that TikTok hasn’t exactly become a bastion of heavier music just yet, and his bearded and tattooed look stands out from the platform’s assortment of teenage pop stars and dance routines.

While the world was shut down in 2020, Social Order was formed. Amidst the desolation of 2020, Social Order emerged as a beacon of creativity and connection. Their mission: to combat the crushing weight of isolation through the power of collaborative artistry. By fusing catchy pop melodies with a synth-driven post-punk aesthetic, this trio of musical mavericks has forged a sound that is uniquely their own. What sets Social Order apart is their fierce independence. They write, record, produce, and mix their own material, and even handle all of their own video production and digital visual content. Mason Musso (Metro Station), Anthony Improgo (Metro Station, Parade of Lights), and Andrew Ward (Nuwave Fighters) later partnered with Audioneer/UMG Philippines to unleash a six-song release entitled How To Lie.

Comprised of newcomers Leo Brooks and Andrew Millsaps, Neon Union is a duo preparing to take country music by storm. Brooks grew up in Miami and has collaborated with artists like Pitbull, Lauryn Hill, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Cee Lo Green and John Legend. Millsaps grew up in North Carolina and has been writing songs ever since the age of 13. When the two were introduced, they knew instantly that their sound and musical styles would join together to create the perfect duo. Together as Neon Union, Brooks and Millsaps are bringing a new sound to country music, with 808 kick drums married to traditional country lyric and anthemic pop melodies. Since signing with Jay DeMarcus’ Red Street Records in 2022, Neon Union has been named Billboard’s Rookie of the Month, earned performance slots with the ACMs and CMA Fest and have opened for musical acts like Hardy, Scotty McCreery and Pitbull.

The Guilty Party, comprised of a talented group of musicians based in Las Vegas, who are quickly making a name for themselves with their unique sound and catchy lyrics. Their latest hit single, “Waste His Time,” is taking the airwaves by storm and is quickly becoming a fan favorite.

Carol-Lyn’s All Stars play the classic rock tunes from the bands and artists they’ve performed with. Foreigner’s Lou Gramm, Journey’s Steve Augeri, ZZTop’s Billy Gibbons, The Outfield and more!

Mountain’s Edge Music Festival guests will also have the opportunity to chow down on delicious food from some of Las Vegas’ top food trucks, including Vito’s Tacos, Cousin’s Mane, World’s Best Corndogs, Flat Top Burgers and Shakes, Snowie Paradice, and Fruit Fusion.
