Resident comics Julio Rodriguez, Bret Ernst, and Butch Bradley will be sharing the Dragon Room with touring comics Peter Berman, Patrick Garrity, Rocky Dale Davis, Geoff Keith, Chris Clarke, Cory Michaelis, Dougie Almeida and Byron Kennedy throughout the month of January.

L.A. Comedy Club at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower has announced a new January lineup that include popular stand up comedy names. Peter Berman, Patrick Garrity, Rocky Dale Davis, Geoff Keith, Chris Clarke, Cory Michaelis, Dougie Almeida and Byron Kennedy will be taking the stage inside the Dragon Room with shows starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase here. These comedians have been featured on multiple TV shows throughout different networks including CBS, NBC, MTV, and more.

 

The club’s lineup of popular resident comics also include the nightly Happy Hour Variety Show starring Julio Gonzalez at 6 p.m.; comedian Butch Bradley at 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday; and comedian Bret Ernst at 10 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed “The younger rebel brother of Improv” by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Julio Gonzalez, a rising star in the comedy scene, is known nationwide for his storytelling comedic style using experiences from his life such as weight loss, relationships, society, women and living life to the fullest. Gonzalez also uses his platform and talents as a comedian to help others through his various charity shows and is committed to being the change he wants to see in the world.

Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the “Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival,” the “Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley has received the gold award for “Best Comedian” for three consecutive years by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards. Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid.

  1. 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Bret Ernst

Bret Ernst, born and raised in New Jersey, was one of four comedians featured in “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights—Hollywood to the Heartland,” has appeared on television shows like “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Weeds” and has a recurring role on Netflix’s hit series, “Cobra Kai.” Ernst’s jokes are rooted in storytelling, giving the audience an inside look at the life of a typical North Jersey Italian kid in the 1980s.

  1. Monday, Jan. 1 through Sunday Jan. 7: Peter Berman with special guest Patrick Garrity

Peter Berman is a comedian and actor, who hosted the nationally syndicated morning radio show, “Morning Sickness” and wrote for “The Howard Stern Radio Program.” Featured on “Comedy Central Presents,” he also appeared on IFC’s comedy series “Maron” as well as performing in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada and for American troops in Afghanistan.

Patrick Garrity started comedy at an early age and developed into a veteran of the road. His energized stories about being in the military, growing up a younger brother and why the Irish don’t trash-talk, come to life through characters, impressions and real-life situations. Garrity has also appeared on NBC’s and CBS’s “Comedy Night School.”

  1. Monday, Jan. 8 through Sunday, Jan. 14: Rocky Dale Davis

Rocky Dale Davis is a national touring comedian who has appeared on several TV shows including, NBC’s “Bring the Funny,” MTV’s “Greatest Party Stories,” and Kevin Hart’s “Hart Of the City.” Originally from Alabama, Davis first appeared on CMT’s competition reality show “Redneck Island” hosted by Stone Cold Steve Austin. He has gone on to open for some of the biggest names in comedy such as Tom Segura, Damon Wayans Jr., Ralphie May, Bert Kreischer and Tommy Davidson.

  1. Monday, Jan. 15 through Sunday, Jan. 21: Geoff Keith with special guest Chris Clarke

Geoff Keith, from Los Angeles, California was voted Orange County’s Funniest Person in 2005 and spent the following year touring the country opening for Pablo Francisco. In 2011, Keith was named by Campus Activities Magazine as one of their “Hot Comics” and was one of five people nominated the following year for Comedian of the Year. Keith has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and “Pablo Francisco’s: OUCH!,” “The Late Late Show” on CBS and “Comics Unleashed” on ABC, among others.

 

Also known as “C-Snacks”, Chris Clarke is a high-energy style comic with a vivid imagination. His popularity grew when tasting snacks from the front seat of his car and providing his candid and unfiltered opinions, attracting over 5 million views on his YouTube channel. His hilarious and unique way of explaining the way different snacks taste, landed him a national fast food commercial for Checkers and Rally. It also gave him an hour special on The Cooking Channel called Baby Got Snack and was a food critic judge on the Beat Bobby Flay show. Clarke has cemented himself as one of the most enjoyable acts working today. His first National TV appearance was on the 2013 revamped “Comic View” hosted by Sommore. He has also toured the country with veteran comedian Rob Schneider.

  1. Monday, Jan. 22 through Sunday, Jan 28: Cory Michaelis with special guest Dougie Almeida

Cory Michaelis, originally a high school teacher turned comedian, has headlined comedy clubs all over the U.S. and Canada. Michaelis has opened for legendary comedians like Louis Anderson, which led to his recording of his comedy special “Bad Teacher” for DryBarComedy.com, which now has more than 25 million views. His first album “The Collage Dropout” debuted at No.1 on the iTunes comedy chart and No.2 on the Billboard comedy chart. Michaelis was a finalist in the “Seattle International Comedy Competition” and a headliner of the “Idaho Laugh Fest” in Boise. He also appeared on season one of the Netflix hit “Huge in France,” and has performed internationally in Karachi, Pakistan and Dubai.

 

Dougie Almeida, a Queens, NY native, is a retired kickboxer and former corporate presenter for one of the largest financial planning firms in the country. His specialty was taking lifeless insurance presentations and transforming them into works of comic art. Prior to taking the stage, Dougie gauges his audience, reaches into his vault and prepares his onslaught of humor. Once on stage, he delivers blow after blow of hilarity, hitting the audience with punch line after punchline, with a wit and stage presence second to none. He was recently featured on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and has been a winner of Improv’s “New Faces of Comedy” as well as participating in various comedy festivals across the country.

  1. Monday, Jan. 29 through Sunday, Feb. 4: Byron Kennedy

Byron Kennedy, a former radio and music executive with a track record for success, made the leap to the comedy stage after his trajectory took him from open mic nights to being featured in Las Vegas and beyond. While still working as a record label executive, Kennedy dove into his comedy side hustle and took any slot he could at clubs in Nashville and Los Angeles. His irreverent, observational style and natural charisma helped him seal a record deal with BBR Music Group as the company’s only comic. His comedic style has led to headlining gigs across the country, including The Grand Ole Opry. He also hosts the podcast “Hot Chicken & Cage-Free Conversation,” where special guests range from artists and music industry professionals to athletes. In 2022, he took his Down Home Tour on the road with country artist Jimmie Allen. His first two singles, “Hope the Stupid Goes Away” and “Gummy Bear,” both featured the Sideways Sallys and debuted in 2022.
