Dine on Cloud Nine this Valentine’s Day
at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod will celebrate love with festive menus at the award-winning Top of the World restaurant, BLVD & MAIN Taphouse and McCall’s Heartland Grill on Friday, Feb. 14.
Top of the World restaurant will offer a four-course meal in its rotating dining room, located more than 800 feet high. The romantic four-course dinner, created by Executive Chef Robert Lomeli, begins with a Panzanella crostini, a baguette crostini served with marinated heirloom cherry tomato and Boquerón; followed by a choice between a baby gem wedge salad served with heirloom cherry tomatoes; or roasted corn soup made with Brentwood corn, king crab and piment d’Espelette. The main course includes a choice between roasted branzino, served with zucchini squash relish and chimichurri; or truffle-crusted filet, a 10-ounce Harris Ranch tenderloin served with crispy fingerling potatoes and cabernet and rosemary jus. A dark chocolate tart served with strawberries and Chantilly cream will be served for dessert. The menu will be available from 4 to 11 p.m. and is priced at $120 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. McCall’s Heartland Grill will offer a three-course dinner, including a salmon crostini prepared with Atlantic salmon, herb cream cheese, grilled toast and seared grape; a kale salad served with baby kale, chervil goat cheese walnut cake and pear and maple citrus vinaigrette; surf-and-turf served with an 8-ounce filet mignon, seared diver scallops, chimichurri and saffron beurre monte; and for dessert, a molten chocolate cake topped with salted caramel whipped cream. Priced at $65 per person plus tax and gratuity, the Valentine’s Day menu will be available from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14. BLVD & MAIN Taphouse will offer a festive three-course menu, prepared by Chef Johannes Bernau. The dinner will begin with a local greens salad made with berries and a raspberry vinaigrette; followed by the choice between pan seared scallops served with creamy polenta, Parmigiano-Reggiano and shaved fennel and dill salad or a grilled flat iron steak served with papas bravas, arugula, orange segments and shaved parmesan as the main course. A chocolate pot de crème will be served for dessert. Priced at $35 per person plus tax and gratuity, the dinner will be available on Friday, Feb. 14.
