HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO EXTENDS REHAB, LAS VEGAS’ ORIGINAL DAYCLUB, INTO TWO DAYS A WEEK BEGINNING APRIL 12 – 13

After an unparalleled 10th anniversary season, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino invites revelers to indulge in a double-dose of REHAB by extending the debauchery to two days, adding Saturdays to its signature Sunday events. Partygoers can check in for a weekend of revelry beginning Saturday, April 12 with music sensation Robin Thicke and Sunday, April 13 with award-winning artist Flo Rida. Hard Rock Hotel’s regular pool season launches on Friday, March 7.

“REHAB is Las Vegas’ original dayclub and we’re just coming off an explosive 10th anniversary season. People can’t get enough of the dayclub that started it all, so we are adding an extra day to continue the party,” said Michael Goodwin, vice president of daylife and nightlife at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. “We already have a celebrity-packed lineup and we can’t wait for the season to start.”

Since opening in 2004, REHAB has welcomed more than 725,000 patrons, sold more than 2 million beers and cocktails, and popped more than 45,000 bottles of champagne, vodka, etc. Las Vegas Weekly stated that the dayclub is “still sizzling at 10 years” and the Las Vegas Review-Journal mentioned it’s “the original and yet still the best party” in Sin City.

 

REHAB was also featured on Travel Channel’s “21 Sexiest Beach Bars” calling it “the must-see place on a Sunday afternoon,” has been deemed the “best known, biggest and craziest pool party” by the Los Angeles Times and was titled “legendarily raucous” by Travel + Leisure. In addition, the dayclub won the “(DAY)Lifetime Achievement Award” in Vegas Seven’s 2013 Daylife Awards. Throughout the years, REHAB has played host to several celebrities including DJ Pauly D, Drake, Holly Madison, Kim Kardashian, Ne-Yo, Paris Hilton, Pitbull, Psy, Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, Diddy, R. Also making a return during pool season is the property’s outdoor music hotspot, SOUNDWAVES. The poolside concert series is a summer experience that highlights some of today’s hottest bands and artists in a unique and intimate setting. Additional details regarding the season opening and entertainment lineup will be announced at a later date.

 

In addition, more than 50 Tahitian-style cabanas, 25 daybeds and six banquettes combined at Nirvana Pool, Breathe Pool Lounge and Paradise Beach will feature upgraded amenities to ensure guests receive the ultimate experience while on property.

 

Nirvana Pool is reserved for hotel guests and is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Breathe Pool Lounge is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Paradise Beach is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Admission for all pools is free for hotel guests daily and the general public Monday through Friday.

 

Tickets to REHAB start at $30 for females and $50 for males. Located at Paradise Beach, the dayclub is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Roster of over-the-top weekend activities planned to accompany main social event

 

Revered as one of Las Vegas’ signature social events, Aid for AIDS of Nevada’s annual Black & White Party returns to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Paradise Beach on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Black & White Party boasts a unique experience of festivities, celebrations and revelry complete with gourmet food, beverage samplings, eye-catching atmospheric entertainment and live stage performances. As the largest non-profit supporting the HIV/AIDS community in Nevada, 100 percent of proceeds from the evening go to support HIV/AIDS services.

“It’s been nearly three decades of incredible Black & White Party memories,” said Earl Shelton, director of development for AFAN. “We’re looking forward to making this year one to remember. It’s an honor to have Hard Rock Hotel as our invaluable host for the second consecutive year and we can’t wait to create another evening for the history books.”

Celebrating its 27th anniversary in 2013, the Black & White Party began as a humble gathering of community members in 1986 to collect canned foods for those living with HIV/AIDS in Nevada. Held at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Paradise Beach, with plush tropical scenery with Caribbean-blue water and sandy beaches, the Black & White Party will feature nearly 20 unique food & beverage vendors, exciting raffle prizes, fashion contests and live entertainment.

“We’re pleased to support AFAN by participating as the host venue for the second year in a row and 10th overall,” said Jody Lake, Chief Operating Officer of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. “This year’s expanded activities will make Hard Rock Hotel a great destination all weekend long.”

General admission tickets are on sale for $35 per person; limited VIP tickets are available for $100 per ticket and include early entry to the event at 8 p.m. with first access to tastings and vendors, an exclusive gift bag and distinctive VIP party entertainment. For the first time, a roster of official events will surround the main Black & White evening to create an unforgettable weekend. The official kick-off party will be held at Share Nightclub on Friday, Aug. 23 at 10 p.m. No cover for Las Vegas residents; tables are available for $200 and limited cabanas can be purchased for $250 through AFAN’s website with 100 percent of proceeds going to support the organization. During the day on Saturday, Aug. 24, Breathe Pool Lounge at Hard Rock Hotel will host the official pre-party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; $5 cover for locals. Following the Black & White Party, the after-party will be held at FreeZone and Piranha Nightclub located in the “Fruit Loop” beginning at 1 a.m. To cap off the weekend, 35 Steaks + Martinis at Hard Rock Hotel will host a delicious brunch for $45 per person beginning at 11 a.m. featuring stuffed French toast and mini chicken & waffles among other dishes.Unlimited mimosas are available for an additional $15 per person.

Community-driven project supports local nonprofits every Friday at the property’s luxurious pool havens

 

In its continued effort to support the local community, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas launches Pay It Forward Fridays located within its lush pool scene every Friday, May 31 – Aug. 30. The initiative will donate proceeds from cabana rentals to select local nonprofits.

Each week, a designated cause will receive up to 14 of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s lavish cabanas priced at $100 each. The nonprofits are encouraged to sell their cabanas to supporters, volunteers and staff with proceeds benefitting their organization. VIP cabanas come equipped with plasma TVs, telephone, refrigerator, bottled water and a safe for valuables ensuring all guests will experience the ultimate day of rest and relaxation while supporting the community.

Pay It Forward Fridays is open to all ages, but certain pools are restricted for patrons 21 years or older with a valid form of identification.
