THE COPA ROOM AT TUSCANY SUITES & CASINO IN LAS VEGAS
GETS AMPED FOR SUMMER WITH NEW ROCK SHOWS
Intimate room, big sound: The venue announces its first four shows starting Saturday, July 12
This summer, rock n’ roll has found a new home at the COPA ROOM at Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas. The intimate room, featuring an upgraded sound system, will be lit up Saturday nights starting July 12 with an array of exciting bands. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. and the music starts at 10 p.m. Self-parking and valet parking at the Tuscany are always complimentary.
The COPA ROOM has announced its first four shows (listed below), three of which have no cover. The 18+ venue has a capacity of 150-200 (depending on the layout), with areas designed for both seating and standing. A full-service bar is available with well drinks priced at $10-12 and beers between $5-7.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
July 12: BYOB (no cover) – System of a Down tribute band
July 19: FXP (no cover) – Fronted by Vegas born-and-raised singer/songwriter Franky Perez
July 26: Smashing Alice (no cover) – Modern Rock cover band
August 2: Lovedrive ($10 cover) – Scorpions tribute band
We love rock music ourselves and as fans want to bring an experience that fans enjoy,” says Grayson McNees, General Manager, Tuscany Suites & Casino. “We’ve upgraded our sound system and made changes to the room to make it capable of providing an experience that meets both brand and fan standards. Now that those are in place, we are very excited to host these shows.”
McNees adds that he and his team were “heavily inspired by The Viper Room,” the legendary Los Angeles club, and feel that rock audiences will resonate with the COPA ROOM.
“We love intimate show rooms and the electric presence listening to a band can have in them,” explains McNees. “The sound system can handle many kinds of acts, with output high energy and quality sound for all of them. Music will be at the forefront of the experience, and this isn’t going to be a venue where guests are paying $30 for a well drink.”
The COPA ROOM will present “no cover” bands monthly but will mix in ticketed shows as well. “Our goal is to bring in the best acts we can for the Vegas rock community and visitors to the city,” adds McNees
