THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS DEBUTS EXCLUSIVE DINING EXPERIENCE, THE CHEF’S TABLE, AT SCARPETTA

Reservations are now available for the interactive culinary affair beginning Monday, Oct. 19

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is thrilled to announce the launch of the Chef’s Table at Scarpetta, an immersive, private dining experience centered in timeless Italian tradition. Beginning Monday, Oct. 19, parties of up to six guests can make reservations for the exclusive culinary affair online for $200 per person.

Nestled between a spectacular display of animated fountains and an unobstructed view of Scarpetta’s bustling kitchen, the private seating area invites guests into the warmth of an Italian family gathering around the Chef’s Table. Led by Scarpetta’s Chef de Cuisine, and Las Vegas native, Michael Vitangeli, tales and taste intertwine to create an unparalleled culinary showcase.

“My passion for cooking began as early as five years old, when my grandmother taught me to recreate her authentic Italian dishes and techniques in the kitchen,” said Scarpetta Chef de Cuisine, Michael Vitangeli. “The new Chef’s Table experience allows me the opportunity to welcome guests into my Italian kitchen and share the delicious and savory comfort of my family’s longstanding recipes. I believe food is meant to be approachable and comforting, and I look forward to inviting guests to gather around the Chef’s Table and join the Scarpetta family.”

For the Chef’s Table experience, Vitangeli indulges in age-old recipes helmed by his lineage with six courses presented alongside expertly selected wine pairings throughout the evening. Upon arrival, guests are warmly greeted by General Manager Mario Disi and escorted to the remarkable marble-clad Scarpetta bar where they will toast with an aperitif cocktail, specially crafted to commemorate the evening. Guests are then accompanied to the private, familial dining room and introduced to Chef Vitangeli where a beautiful six-course dance of storytelling and tableside presentation featuring hand-pulled pastas, fresh antipasti and burrata is enjoyed amongst friends and family. Menu highlights include Homemade Burratta made with prosciutto, roasted bell peppers, cracked pepper, fresh Crisini and super Tuscan olive oil; Scampi comprised of homemade pasta, smothered jumbo prawns, heirloom tomatoes, capers, Vermentino wine, roasted garlic and Salmoriglio; Porchetta, a roasted pork belly with apple mostarda and horseradish crema; with Homemade Canoli and Torta della Nona for dessert.

Scarpetta, located on the third level of The Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Tower, derives its name from the gesture of soaking a boot-shaped piece of bread in the remaining sauce left in the pot of the home kitchen. All facets of the world-renown Italian restaurant are ingrained in familiar gesture and indulgent pleasure, down to the very last taste. Chef Vitangeli’s understated, yet elegant, approach to Italian cuisine is expertly crafted with responsibly sourced ingredients and carefully prepared for a classic and approachable dining experience.
