THE MOB MUSEUM TO HOST “NOIR BAR: FILM CLASSICS AND COCKTAILS WITH EDDIE MULLER”

Host of TCM’s “Noir Alley” to Present Film Noir Anecdotes, Cocktail Pairings

WHAT:
The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, announces it will host “Noir Bar: Film Classics and Cocktails with Eddie Muller.” As an avid cocktail connoisseur and host of Turner Classic Movies’ (TCM) “Noir Alley,” Muller will discuss a range of classic movies, including some with Mob themes, while demonstrating how to craft a selection of cocktails from his new book.

Attendees can listen to insights and anecdotes about all-time-great noir films while enjoying a carefully curated lineup of noir-inspired cocktails. Cocktails will feature Muller’s Sailor Beware with Irish whiskey, brandy, green chartreuse, ginger, lime, lemon and an absinthe wash; a Mildred Pierce with mezcal, Aperol, grapefruit, lime and orange juice; and a classic Gimlet with gin, lime juice and sugar.

A signing of Muller’s book, “Noir Bar: Cocktails Inspired by the World of Film Noir” (2023), will follow this program. Those unable to attend can still purchase a copy by visiting The Mob Museum’s store here.

WHO:
Eddie Muller is the host of “Noir Alley” on TCM. Additionally, he writes novels, biographies, movie histories, plays, short stories and films. He also programs film festivals, curates museums, designs books and provides commentary in all media. He produces and hosts NOIR CITY, a 20-year-old Bay Area film festival, and founded the Film Noir Foundation.
