The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower to End 2023 on a High Note
with New Year’s Eve Celebration, Elevated Menus and More
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower will countdown to 2024 with a New Year’s Eve “Party at the Top” inside the iconic STRAT Tower, elevated offerings at Top of the World, CHĪ Asian Kitchen and McCall’s Heartland Grill, celebratory cocktails at REMIX Lounge and more, exclusively on Sunday, Dec. 31.
The STRAT will host its iconic New Year’s Eve “Party at the Top” in the indoor Observation Deck from 9 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The countdown celebration will offer incredible views of the fireworks displays over the Las Vegas Strip and valley, party favors, live entertainment from a local DJ and more, with festive food and beverages available to purchase. Tickets, available for purchase here, are priced at $165 per person when purchased in advance, or $200 per person when purchased the day of. To celebrate the holiday, Top of the World, the award-winning restaurant towering more than 800 feet above the Las Vegas Strip, will offer its complete à la carte menu for early dining from 4 to 7:45 p.m.. Featured selections, available in honor of the holiday, will include crab and potato bisque made with snow crab, roasted corn and avocado relish and smoked paprika cream, priced at $22; osso buco accompanied by horseradish and smoked blue cheese potato puree and caramelized root vegetables, priced at $65; and crab and scallop stuffed sole served with sweet corn and habanero acini de pepe pasta, roasted Brussels sprouts and lemon beurre blanc, priced at $65. A minimum purchase of $175 per person is required.
Beginning at 9:15 p.m., a featured five-course prix fixe menu with vegan and non-vegan selections will be available at Top of the World, with prices starting at $236 per person. The meal will begin with a glass of Nicolas Feuillatte Réserve Exclusive Brut, Chouilly, FR NV and an amuse-bouche of Maine lobster salad with Yukon gold potato cake, vanilla yuzu cream and golden caviar; followed by the first course of Cajun butter poached shrimp and chorizo and smoked cheddar grits with giardiniera. For the second course, crab and potato bisque made with snow crab, roasted corn and avocado relish and smoked paprika cream will be served; followed by Wagyu tartare with miso and truffle emulsion, roasted wild mushrooms, roasted garlic and Dijon vinaigrette and potato haystack. Guests will have the choice of osso buco with horseradish and smoked blue cheese potato puree and caramelized root vegetables; or crab and scallop stuffed sole with sweet corn and habanero acini de pepe, roasted Brussels sprouts and lemon beurre blanc for the entrée. The meal will end on a sweet note with a dessert of cream cheese mousse with mixed berry center, champagne gelée and fruit truffles.
CHĪ Asian Kitchen will offer a featured pairing in honor of the holiday, priced at $49. An entrée of New York pepper steak with Yangzhou fried rice will be accompanied by a specialty cocktail, Leap Year, made with Grey Goose La Poire vodka, Good Day Green Grape Soju, yuzu, cinnamon, champagne and Electricdust.
McCall’s Heartland Grill will ring in the new year with a four-course prix fixe meal priced at $85 per person. The dinner will begin with flaming tequila lime shrimp followed by a classic Caesar salad. A surf and turf entrée of filet mignon and butter poached lobster tail will be accompanied by sauteed asparagus and white truffle risotto. Dessert will feature a teardrop pink champagne cake with raspberry champagne mousse and a white chocolate collar.
Keeping the energy and excitement going into the New Year, guests may enjoy dancing and drinks in REMIX Lounge with no cover charge. Local entertainers will include The Klique Band, who will perform jazz hits from the swing era and today’s chart-toppers from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., followed by DJ Santos from 1 to 4 a.m.
The STRAT will offer guests the chance to find some end of the year luck with the New Year’s Eve Hot Seats drawings. Every hour from noon on Friday, Dec. 29 through 11:59 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, two True Rewards members who are actively playing will be selected to win $100 in slot play.
