Tropicana Las Vegas to Open Red Lotus Asian Kitchen and Celebrate Chinese New Year with Lion Dance

Tropicana Las Vegas will continue its food and beverage refresh with the debut of Red Lotus Asian Kitchen, an Asian-inspired restaurant featuring Asian fare with a western flare. Set to debut this February 2, 2018, guests will be treated to fast, easy and flavorful Asian cuisine with a twist – available for dine-in and grab-and-go, just in time for Chinese New Year, the ‘Year of the Dog’.

“We are excited to welcome our all-new dining concept, Red Lotus Asian Kitchen to our food and beverage line-up at Tropicana Las Vegas,” said Aaron Rosenthal, VP and General Manager for Tropicana Las Vegas. “The property now offers everything from quick service to fine dining, and Red Lotus Asian Kitchen is the perfect restaurant to top off our current dining options available to both our guests and Marquee Reward Members. The restaurant will serve up both dine-in and carry out options – great for any occasion.”

Led by International chef Steven Leung, guests will be able to indulge in Asian cuisine’s greatest hits with a twist. The menu will feature an array of appetizers, soups, rice and noodle, as well as rice bowl options. Guests will be able to start off their experience with appetizers such as pot stickers, egg rolls, scallion pancakes, and soy braised pork belly baos, to name a few. Followed by soup-inspired options including Vietnamese beef pho, tonkotsu pork ramen, wonton noodle soup, and more. Plus, to top off any occasion, guests can enjoy rice and noodle options such as street side pad Thai noodles, Red Lotus chow main or bowl options complete with broccoli and beef, Thai curry chicken, sweet and sour and much more.

In addition, to celebrate Chinese New Year, guests can enjoy a live authentic lion dance set to be held on the casino floor on Saturday, February 17 at 6 p.m. Guests are also invited to test their fortune with two unique Baccarat offerings, the first a $30,000 Baccarat promotion for the entire month of February where every Saturday eight (8) lucky names will be drawn for prizes ranging from $500 to $2500 in promo chips. The second is a $108,000 Baccarat Tournament taking place February 15 through February 18. Visit Players Services at Tropicana for more information on either or both events.
