BAJA MIGUEL’S

 

Cinco de Mayo Specialty Menu – Friday, May 4 – Sunday, May 6 – UPDATED

Baja Miguel’s will offer five authentic food specials in honor of Cinco de Mayo along with $5 drink specials including any Mexican beer, standard or specialty margaritas, Miguel’s mojito or house wine. Each fiesta dining special is available for $15.55 and all entrees are served with chips, three dips, Spanish rice and refried beans. The specials include:

  • Parillada Mexicana: 3-ounce skirt steak, chicken and pork served on a skillet with a trio of house made sauces.
  • Tequila Steak: 10-ounce rib eye, broiled and topped with sautéed onions in a house chipotle sauce.
  • Chicken Poblano: 8-ounce chicken breast, grilled and topped with poblano peppers and cream sauce.
  • Camarones a la Diabla: Shrimp sautéed in a house-made diabla sauce.
  • Miguel’s Pork Chops: Lightly spiced, pan seared pork chops topped with sautéed onions and tomatoes, and finished with ranchera sauce.

Baja Miguel’s Tequila Bar will also offer guests $5 food and drink specials including any Mexican beer, margaritas, Miguel’s mojito and house wines Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 6. Food specials include cheesy quesadillas, chips con queso, mini toastadas, taquitos and dessert churros available for $5.

 

Regular menus will also be available at Baja Miguel’s and Miguel’s Tequila Bar Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 6. Mother’s Day Specialty Menu – Sunday, May 13 — UPDATED

Baja Miguel’s offers a three-course menu from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The prix-fixe menu will be available for $21.95 per person and includes a complimentary Margarita or glass of wine with menu options such as:

  • First Course: Chicken Salad, signature Baja style chicken on a crispy leaf of romaine; or Sweet Corn Tamale, topped with salsa, avocado, salsa verde and sour cream.
  • Second Course: Salmon Aracely, 8-ounce salmon, grilled and finished with saffron cream sauce; or Surf and Turf Maria, 6-ounce filet mignon served with two jumbo shrimp topped with a house chipotle sauce. Entrées are served with asparagus tips and a side of vegetable rice.
  • Third Course: Flan Napolitano, decadent layers of chocolate cake topped with creamy homemade strawberry flan; or Mango Sundae, diced mangos served over vanilla ice

Baja Miguel’s offers $9.95 meal deals Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The specialty menu includes the choice of two items, including Chicken, Beef or Cheese Enchiladas; Chicken or Beef Flautas; Chicken, Ground or Shredded Beef Tacos and Chili Relleno. Entrées include Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. The $9.95 special includes frozen margarita, soft drink or Fideo soup. In addition, guests will enjoy complimentary tortilla chips served with salsa, guacamole and bean dip for the table. Each entrée includes a side of rice and beans.

BIG SUR OYSTER BAR

 

“What the Shuck!?” Lunch Specials and Half-Priced Oysters and Clams

South Point’s Big Sur Oyster Bar’s popular “What the Shuck!?” lunch special menu includes dishes starting at $7.95. Diners can choose from a menu that satisfies any seafood lovers’ cravings, including Big Sur Salmon Cakes, Shrimp Alfredo, Shrimp Sriracha, Salmon Melt, Fish Tacos and Grilled Tilapia. In addition, Big Sur Oyster Bar features half-price oysters and clams on the half shell. These specials are available Monday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m.

Bowling Coffee and Snack Bar Menu

The Bowling Coffee and Snack Bar, located in the South Point Bowling Center, offers guests the chance to pick up their favorite beverage and an assortment of pastries to start the day off right. The updated menu features the perfect grab and go options, including: Breakfast Burrito ($6.75), Cinnamon Roll French Toast ($8.95), Carne Asada Tater Tots ($8.95), and Quesadilla with Chicken or Steak ($8.95). In addition, the new menu will feature a variety of new drink options such as Tropicana Lemonade, Apple or Orange Juice ($2.45), and Siberian Chill (regular $2.25, large $2.95). Coronado Café treats guests to a three-course menu for $15.95 per person, which includes a glass of wine complimentary or a cocktail from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The specialty menu includes:

  • First Course: Cream of Asparagus Soup; or Mother’s Day Salad, loaded with bibb lettuce, sundried cherries, toasted walnuts, teardrop tomatoes, topped with crumbled blue cheese and finished with a house Green Goddess dressing.
  • Second Course: Chicken Caprese, grilled chicken breast served with sliced Roma tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, finished with a balsamic glaze and served with rice pilaf and green beans; or Medallions of Beef Coronado, beef medallions served over a merlot reduction, topped with sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, chives, and a house béarnaise sauce with a side of roasted chateau potatoes and green beans.

South Point Hotel’s Coronado Café serves $8.95 daily lunch specials, including:

  • Monday: Salisbury Steak, seasoned ground beef steak grilled and topped with sautéed onions, mushroom gravy, served with mashed potatoes and the vegetable of the day; Island Salad, grilled chicken breast with mixed greens, cucumbers, red and yellow peppers, green onions, mango, pineapple with macadamia nuts and tossed in a citrus vinaigrette with crisp wontons.
  • Tuesday: Homemade Meatloaf, oven-baked meatloaf with mushroom sauce, served with mashed potatoes and a side of vegetables; Coronado Chicken Salad, grilled and diced chicken breast served over baby kale, quinoa, arugula, teardrop tomatoes, dried cranberries and blue cheese, topped with apple cider vinaigrette.
  • Wednesday: Swiss Steak, simmered in a rich red wine sauce, served with buttered noodles and seasonal vegetables; Western Chicken Salad Bowl, grilled chicken breast, diced and served with chopped romaine lettuce, crumbled bacon, black beans, corn, tossed with a smoked tomato ranch dressing and fried onion strings.

Coronado Café offers a late-night menu with its graveyard specials from midnight to 6 a.m. Guests can select from a specially prepared menu featuring Buttermilk Biscuits and Gravy ($2.95), Two Eggs with Bacon or Sausage ($3.45), Steak and Eggs ($4.95), Pancake Sandwich ($3.95), Ham Steak and Eggs ($3.95) and a Cheeseburger ($3.95). Don Vito’s offers guests a three-course menu for $39 per person that includes a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine from 4 to 10 p.m. The specialty menu includes:

  • First Course: Smoked Salmon Bruschetta, smoked salmon topped with crème fraiche and caviar; Sausage and Escarole Soup, served with white beans; or Watermelon and Spinach Salad, topped with crumbled ricotta, crushed pistachios and an aged balsamic.
  • Second Course: Chicken Scampi, chicken breast sautéed with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and garlic in a sherry cream sauce served over farfalle pasta; Filet of Beef with Sea Scallops, a broiled 6-ounce filet served with bacon wrapped scallops and finished with a black garlic red wine reduction or Tuna Arrabbiata, Cajun spiced tuna served with a classic arrabbiata sauce.

Guest can take advantage of endless options offered on Mother’s Day at the Garden Buffet with a Bottomless Champagne Brunch Buffet for $16.95 with a Casino Club Card and $20.95 without a Casino Club Card from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. To pair with bottomless champagne, featured dishes include Flounder Rolled with Salmon Basil Chardonnay Cream, Glazed Pork Cutlets, Medallions of Beef Tenderloin, Peel ‘n Eat Shrimp, South Point Eggs Benedict and more. The buffets carving station will also offer Nebraska Prime Rib of Beef or Roast Leg of Spring Lamb. To celebrate Memorial Day and say thank you to all United States veterans, South Point’s Garden Buffet will be offering a complimentary Memorial Day buffet for two on Monday, May 28 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Veterans and military members who are 21 years and older and show an active military card or DD214 form will receive a free breakfast with bottomless Bloody Mary’s, lunch or dinner buffet for them and a guest.

 

Themed Buffet Menus

  • Sunday through Thursday: South Point’s Garden Buffet offers guests a juicy Prime Rib and Peel & Eat Shrimp dinner buffet every Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. The dinner buffet is available for $15.95 with a Casino Club Card or $19.95 without a Casino Club Card.
  • Friday and Saturday: South Point’s Garden Buffet offers a seafood buffet experience for $25.95 with a Casino Club Card or $29.95 without a Casino Club Card.   • First Course: Cantaloupe Melon, served with creamy yogurt dipping sauce; Grandma’s Chicken Pot Pie Soup; Mom’s Salad Bowl, toasted walnuts and teardrop tomatoes over a bed of bibb lettuce, finished with crumbled blue cheese and a Green Goddess Dressing; or Shrimp Cocktail.

The South Point Pool Bar returns just in time for summer, now open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The updated offerings include South Point twists on signature cocktails for $7.50 such as the Antioxidant Cooler, Berry Blast, Bloody Mary, Cherry Lemonade, Pina Colada, Margarita, Mojito Classic, Peach Lemonade and Berry-licious Lemonday. In addition, guests can update their cool summer drink by ordering it in a coconut head for $16.50. Silverado Steak House offers a four-course menu for $55 per person with a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine from 3 to 10 p.m. The specialty menu features dishes such as:

  • First Course: Chilled Cantaloupe Melon, wrapped with prosciutto ham; Chilled Shrimp, served over fresh asparagus and drizzled with citrus crème fraiche; or Grilled Cocktail Lamb Chops, two lamb chops served with quinoa salad and a minted tomato relish.

Zenshin offers guests a daily happy hour special featuring a 50 percent discount on select items from 2 to 6 p.m. In addition, Zenshin offers a reverse happy hour Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday through Thursday from 9 to 11 p.m. Diners have the opportunity to relax after a busy day with $7 cocktails, $4 beers and $5.50 wines. A special happy hour dining menu features appetizers including Edamame ($3), Seaweed Salad ($4), Tempura Onion Rings ($4), Steam Shrimp Shumai ($5), Fried Oysters ($5), Chicken Lettuce Wraps ($5) and more.
