IMPOSSI-BOWL BURGER DEBUTS ON BROOKLYN BOWL LAS VEGAS’ CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED MENU, DEC. 7

THE SUSTAINABLE PLANT-BASED BURGER OPTION JOINS THE

CULINARY LINEUP AT ONE OF LAS VEGAS’ FAVORITE KITCHENS

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, the multi-level entertainment and dining destination at the heart of The Linq Promenade, may be as well known for its food as for its bowling and live music. On Thursday, Dec. 7, the menu gets a seriously sustainable upgrade with the addition of The Impossi-bowl Burger.

Brooklyn Bowl becomes just the fourth location in Las Vegas to offer the carnivore-duping delight by Impossible Foods, the Impossible Burger. The plant-based patty that Brooklyn Bowl has customized to create its Impossi-bowl Burger is a mind-bogglingly meatless burger, made from all-natural ingredients, including wheat, coconut oil and potatoes. But meat lovers, do not recoil! The key is in the heme, an ingredient found in plants but that is also particularly abundant in meat. This is what makes the meat sizzle with that distinctive meaty aroma and flavor, and the Impossi-bowl Burger is chock full of this good stuff.

Brooklyn Bowl, a LEED Certified green building, has placed sustainability high on its list of priorities since it opened in March 2014; just ask its employees who take the stairs up to the main level every day (running the escalators pre-opening is a waste of energy). Compared to cows, the Impossi-bowl uses 95 percent less land, 74 percent less water and creates 87 percent less greenhouse gas emissions, so it is a natural fit for the eco-conscious venue.

Appropriately, the Impossi-bowl Burger will roll out on the day of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood (CRB) show at Brooklyn Bowl. Jam bands have traditionally brought with them a following that includes a good number of earth-conscious – hence vegan – fans. The earthy blues rockers themselves will get a taste of the burger before their performance. Doors for CRB are set to open at 7 p.m., but Brooklyn Bowl will open at 5 p.m. for dinner service.
