Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas will continue its reign as Las Vegas’ favorite music venue into 2019 with an entertainment lineup that appeals to music lovers of every genre – and for the first time, trivia-philes. The diverse lineup announcement includes Catfish John’s Holiday Party (Dec. 22), Nevada Public Radio Trivia Night (Jan. 16), Collie Buddz (Feb. 8), Twiddle (March. 2), Yung Gravy (March 16), and Snarky Puppy (June 3).

In dedication and devotion to the musical adventure of the Grateful Dead, Jeff Orr, Dusty Alander, Jason Gavin, Dan Klepinger, Scott Tilotson, Keith Alcantara, and Jack Dellavalle bring back their own interpretation of the music that has inspired for over 50 years.

Reggae artist Collie Buddz discovered his sound while growing up in his native home of Bermuda. By the age of 12, Buddz knew his way around a music studio, and eventually moved to Toronto to pursue an audio engineering degree. With dreams of becoming a music producer, Buddz created his own work. Since then he has released music on his own record label scoring major hits with “Come Around,” and “Blind to You,” and has toured all over the world with artists like Cypress Hill and Rebelution.

NPR TRIVIA NIGHT FEAT. SAM SANDERS
Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m.
Nevada Public Radio and Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas come together for their first installment in a new series of trivia, conversation and cocktails featuring special guest Sam Sanders, host of NPR’s weekly news, culture and everything show “It’s Been A Minute.” This pop-culture-pub-trivia night will be set up in teams of eight against fellow NPR junkies. VIP Bowling lanes of up to eight and tables of up to four can be reserved or standing room only general admission teams can also compete. 100% of ticket proceeds will benefit NPR.
Prizes will be awarded throughout the night, including the grand prize for the trivia team victor.

TWIDDLE WITH IYA TERRA
Sunday, March 2 at 8 p.m.
Vermont-based rock band Twiddle has been all around from Red Rocks to Bonnaroo, with multiple sellouts of historic rock venues. Now the second half of their 27-song album, “PLUMP,” tells an important story while showcasing the band’s beautiful music comprised in two chapters.

Yung Gravy, born Matthew Hauri in 1996, promises “music for your dad, mother, and sister.” The satirical rapper and songwriter is known for his 2016 single “Mr. Clean,” and has completed two North American tours with support from Ugly God. His style is described as a blend of modern trap, with inspiration from the soul and oldies movements of the 1950s and 60s.

Texas-bred/New York-based quasi-collective Snarky Puppy is one of the major figures in the jazz world. Formed in 2003 by Michael League, the GRAMMY award-winning group has as many as 25 members in regular rotation. The band represents the convergence of both black and white American music culture with various accents from around the world.
