Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas Makes History with KultureCity Partnership

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas Partners with KultureCity to
Become First Sensory Inclusive Bowling Alley in the World

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is officially the first bowling alley to partner with KultureCity, making the venue the first sensory inclusive bowling alley in the world. This ground-breaking partnership was teased by acclaimed Imagine Dragons’ drummer and KultureCity board member, Daniel Platzman at Nevada Public Radio Trivia Night hosted at Brooklyn Bowl earlier this summer.

“It is incredibly fulfilling for me to see the iconic bowling alley and music venue from my hometown, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, join the KultureCity sensory inclusive movement,” said KultureCity board member Daniel Platzman. “I am extremely proud to be a part of this nonprofit and their dedication to inclusion and acceptance of all individuals regardless of their unique abilities.”

Nearly one in five people worldwide live with a disability. KultureCity, a startup nonprofit that strives to create a community of acceptance and inclusion for all individuals, is working to remove societal barriers and prejudices by partnering with companies to promote true acceptance of individuals with unique abilities. By KultureCity providing Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas with the necessary tools, the venue is now the first sensory inclusive certified bowling alley in the world. In order to become certified, all Brooklyn Bowl employees received training on sensory needs such as PTSD, autism and dementia. Additionally, Brooklyn Bowl is now stocked with “Sensory Bags” that feature sensory headphones, fidget tools, KultureCity VIP Access Passes and Feeling Zone Thermometers that provide individuals with a way to share how they are feeling by pointing to a color zone. Additionally, a Quiet Area will be designated as a safe space for individuals to escape the noise.

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas and Flying Embers Hard Kombucha
Offer Free Show Tickets to First Responders

Offer valid for Xavier Rudd (Sept. 11) and Nahko & Medicine for the People (Nov. 7) shows, presented by Flying Embers Hard Kombucha

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas has partnered with Flying Embers Hard Kombucha to provide complimentary concert tickets to First Responders for Flying Embers Hard Kombucha Presents: Xavier Rudd and Nahko & Medicine for the People shows.

Flying Embers has aligned their brand with supporting and giving back to all first responders since their brewery was miraculously spared from the massive 2017 Thomas Fire in Ventura, California. After three days of the wildfires burning a path toward the newly built fermentation lab, winds shifted and changed the direction of the fires. Out of this transformational experience came the inspiration for the Flying Embers name and the brand’s renewed commitment to create functional beverages that illuminate and celebrate the experience of life.

To take advantage of this offer for a complimentary pair of show tickets, First Responders should visit the Brooklyn Bowl box office on the day of show with their work ID. Offer is valid at Xavier Rudd (Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m.) and Nahko & Medicine for the People (Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m.).

FOALS AND CHVRCHES RETURN TO BROOKLYN BOWL LAS VEGAS

FOALS AND CHVRCHES
RETURN TO BROOKLYN BOWL LAS VEGAS

Wednesday, March 27, and Tuesday, April 16

Two renowned indie bands, and Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas alumni, are returning to The Bowl this spring. British indie rock band Foals will once again take the stage on Wednesday, March 27, and Scottish electronic trio CHVRCHES will give another enlightening performance on Tuesday, April 16.

FOALS

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27 AT 8 P.M.

Foals are heading out on a 17 date North American tour following their newest album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1, which will be released on March 8, 2019. The second part of the exploratory, progressive album will be released in the fall. Profoundly tethered but possessing their own personalities, the two albums capture the most compelling, ambitious and cohesive creations that Foals – completed by Jimmy Smith (guitar), Jack Bevan (drums) and Edwin Congreave (keys) – have ever produced. From playing chaotic house parties in their home city of Oxford, England, to becoming major festival headliners across Europe and garnering half a billion Spotify streams, Foals’ trajectory has been remarkable.

Tickets for Foals are available at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at https://ticketf.ly/2RLYDIS. General admission tickets are $34.50 and include a copy of Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost part 1. This show is for ages 18+.

CHVRCHES

TUESDAY, APRIL 16 AT 8 P.M.

CHVRCHES, the Glasgow-based synth-pop phenomenon, will sneak off to play The Bowl between headlining Coachella performances. Comprised of multi-talented artists Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty, the trio is well-known for their hit single “The Mother We Share” off their debut album The Bones of What You Believe. The band’s third and most recent album, Love Is Dead, released in May of 2018, solidified their success with hits “Miracle” and “Get Out.” Over the course of their career, CHVRCHES have played countless shows worldwide, with each tour’s production reaching new heights and leaping towards the top of festival bills. The band have announced an extensive run of summer festivals and U.S., English and Asian live dates for 2019.

Tickets for CHVRCHES are available at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at https://ticketf.ly/2FY3GyP. General admission tickets are $31 and go on sale Friday, Feb. 1. This show is for all ages.

Bayside On Tour with New Found Glory, The Movielife & William Ryan Key – At Las Vegas Brooklyn Bowl Friday June 15th

Bayside

Announce Upcoming Tour with

New Found Glory, The Movielife,

and William Ryan Key (Formerly of Yellowcard)

Tickets Available At newfoundglory.shofetti.com

JUNE 15TH | BROOKLYN BOWL | LAS VEGAS, NV

Bayside is thrilled to announce that they’ve been on the road this spring with Hopeless Records label mates New Found Glory, as well as fellow New Yorkers The Movielife, and former Yellowcard vocalist, William Ryan Key. Tickets available now at newfoundglory.shofetti.com.

It’s very rare for a whole tour package to work this well musically and socially,” vocalist Anthony Raneri shares. “I have a New Found Glory tattoo and a couple of them have Bayside tattoos. I’ve sang on NFG records and both the members of NFG and Vinnie from the Movielife have sang on Bayside records. The Movielife and NFG might have been two of the first bands that we ever gave our demo to when we first started Bayside. This is a very special tour for us on many levels.

Vacancy is the 7th and latest studio album from Bayside. It was written during an uncertain time for Raneri – the end of a relationship and the beginning of a mission of reflection and self-examination – and represents a case study in self-acceptance. He admits those twelve compositions are especially cathartic because he was literally “coming to terms with what my life was becoming.” Fans can check out the band’s latest video “Mary” now on  Youtube, or stream Vacancy in full via Spotify. To purchase, please visit: smarturl.it/Vacancy.

Bayside spent 2017 on tour in support of their latest record, before closing out the year with a highly successful 10 Year Anniversary tour in the U.S. and U.K. in celebration of their third album, The Walking Wounded. “The Walking Wounded was a really important record for us both personally and career wise. It was the record that got us back on our feet after our accident and also marked a big breakout for us professionally,” Raneri explains.”It was the first record and touring cycle that we did with the current line up. We felt it was important to celebrate the ten year anniversary of such an important time in our lives.

Now, with a new year and even more shows ahead, Bayside is ready to keep moving forward.

Social Distortion Is Bringing Punk to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas

SOCIAL DISTORTION

Friday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m.

Tickets on sale Friday, June 1, at 10 a.m. PST

Punk Rock legends Social Distortion are ready to bring their searing guitar riffs and locomotive rhythm to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 26, to promote their first record since 2004, “Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes,” as well as some old fan favorites like their mega-hits “Story of My Life” and “Ball and Chain.”

Social Distortion has been through three decades of love, loss, and lessons learned. Now in their fourth decade, they have officially achieved one of the most non-punk things possible: they’ve failed to burn out.

Mike Ness, the band’s Front Man, has seen his fair share of trial and tribulations as a punk rock star through the decades. However, it is the music that got him through.

“The most common thing I hear is, ‘Man, your music got me through some hard times,’” Ness says. “And I just say, ‘Me too.’”

Social Distortion at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is for all ages. General admission tickets start at $40 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/2ucpORZ .

For more information on Social Distortion, visit their website http://www.socialdistortion.com/ or follow them on Facebook or Twitter.

The Disco Biscuits

Thursday, Nov. 1 – Saturday, Nov. 3; Doors at 11 p.m.

Philadelphia’s favorite trance fusion jam band are returning to the Brooklyn Bowl stage for a three-night run. The Disco Biscuits are an entirely different band today than they were when they first broke out of Philadelphia in the mid-90s, but that’s not to say that they’ve abandoned their foundation, switched gears or set sail for distant shores; they’re still very much the pioneers of “trance fusion,” bridging the gap between electronic music and jam bands. The Biscuits remain rock pioneers whose soul belongs as much to marathon dance parties as it does to live improvisational journeys. They still employ emerging technologies to create music that is 100 percent human although, perhaps, not entirely of this earth.

Tickets for The Disco Biscuits go on sale Thursday, May 24, at 10 a.m. PT and are available at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online on the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas website. Single night general admission tickets are $39.50. Three-day general admission tickets are available for $110. This show is for ages 21+.
