ICEBAR AT THE NOW TAKING GROUP BOOKINGS

ICEBAR, a brand-new project created by Noel Bowman of Minus5 Ice Experience, opens this November at The LINQ Promenade and is now taking bookings for private events. Located steps away from the new Caesars Forum conference center, which will open in 2020, ICEBAR will offer the unforgettable frozen ambience, customizable ice artistry and frosty cocktails familiar to fans of Minus5, as well as feature new, immersive features such as dynamic projection mapping

“ICEBAR offers a completely hassle-free experience for private groups,” said Noel Bowman, owner, ICEBAR. “Our friendly, professional staff ensures every detail is perfect, while our customizable ice sculptures can add a truly memorable element to the event.”

ICEBAR hosts a total of 500 guests: 150 in the frozen ICEBAR, 150 in the warm space and 200 on the open-air patio. Customized ice sculptures can be produced for any occasion, and branded products can even be cleverly showcased while being deep-frozen in crystal-clear blocks of ice. In addition, ICEBAR offers other epic branding opportunities, including the opportunity to project imagery onto a 12-foot-wide LED screen facing The LINQ Promenade, which is traversed by 40,000 visitors a day. Inside, the venue has six 55-inch LED monitors and three projector walls.

Everything inside the frozen space in ICEBAR is constructed with ice: the walls, the seats and even the glasses in which the venue’s famous libations are served. ICEBAR will have cool, blue and green décor elements and signage on the exterior, as well as a 1,000-square-foot covered patio facing the Promenade’s fountain and a “warm space” devoted to a warm bar and lobby at the front entrance. The ice attraction encompasses 1,200 square feet and more than 100 tons of hand-carved ice. The space is maintained at 32 degrees Fahrenheit by a sophisticated, state-of-the-art refrigeration system.

Visitors to ICEBAR don parkas or faux fur coats to experience the venue’s chill vibe. Enhanced by dazzling artistic elements, ICEBAR showcases high-tech projection mapping, immersive ice sculptures and educational features designed to explore the art of ice. Guests ages 21 and older can select from a signature menu of chilled cocktails—such as The ICE MAN, Frozen Mojito and Frosé, all served in glasses made entirely of ice. The attraction is also family friendly, offering icy mocktails with clever names such as Jack Frost and YETI.

Group bookings are also available at two Minus5 Ice Experiences locations on the Strip. The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino location can accommodate groups of up to 500 guests and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas can accommodate groups up to 200. Similar to ICEBAR, both Minus5 locations have a warm space and a complete ice room featuring unique ice carvings, specialty cocktails, parkas or faux fur coats so guests can take in the cool atmosphere.

Pop Vegas Partners with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum for Interactive Exhibit Inside Tattoo’d America Pop-Up Attraction

POP VEGAS PARTNERS WITH SAILOR JERRY SPICED RUM FOR INTERACTIVE EXHIBIT INSIDE TATTOO’D AMERICA POP-UP ATTRACTION

The Tattoo’d America Pop-up Attraction, opening April 11 at Pop Vegas at The LINQ Promenade at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, announces its partnership with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum. Tattoo’d America will feature onsite a Sailor Jerry museum-within-a-museum which will include a unique collection of famed tattoo artist Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins’ original tattoo flash sheets and photography. In addition, visitors will be able participate in a Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum cocktail tasting experience.

Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, the Navy vet who became famous for his all-American inking of soldiers and sailors in World War II-era Honolulu, had an undeniable influence on the tattoo world. Among his achievements, he invented the color purple for ink and promoted the use of clean and sterile needles. Inspired by Collins’ dedication to his crafts, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum exemplifies his spirit when crafting their rum.

“Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins is the godfather of the traditional tattoo and he lived his life unapologetically and outside the lines, and to be able to share that work with old school and new school tattoo fans is what Sailor Jerry is all about,” said Ashley Thomas, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum brand ambassador.

Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum is blended and bottled in America. Just like Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, who spent his time both in the U.S. Navy and then tattooing sailors in his home of Honolulu, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum is proud of its American roots.

ABOUT TATTOO’D AMERICA POP-UP ATTRACTION
Tattoo’d America Pop-Up Attraction, Pop Vegas’ first interactive pop-up experience, celebrates the artistic, provocative, expressive and—because Vegas!—SEXY appeal of the tattoo. In an immersive, dazzlingly visual “funhouse” atmosphere, Tattoo’d America encompasses more than a dozen interactive displays and 500 works of art. In addition to engaging in provocative and colorful photo opportunities, visitors to Tattoo’d America will have the opportunity to share the sentiments behind their own tattoos at the My Tattoo, My Story photo booth and touchscreen wall. Onsite services include live tattooing in the Buzz Tattoo Studio, temporary ink and henna tattoos, body painting and hand marbling. ABOUT SAILOR JERRY SPICED RUM
Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum was created to honor Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, a Navy vet who built his rep inking soldiers and sailors in WWII-era Honolulu where he established his legendary tattoo parlor and himself as the undisputed father of American old school tattooing. Crafted in the traditional Navy way by William Grant & Sons, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum is bold and smooth, with hints of caramel and vanilla. Just like the man who inspired it, this 92-proof rum speaks for itself and holds itself to the traditional values and standards of craftsmanship that Norman Collins espoused. Made in America from Caribbean Rum and blended with spices including ginger, cinnamon, clove and vanilla, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum is an exceptionally smooth drink with an ABV of 46%. From the liquid itself to the packaging, every detail of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum stays true to the vision of Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins. Las Vegas is a place of superlatives, home to some of the brightest lights and largest hotels. When a new attraction is added, it can easily fade into the 24-hour action and activity that defines the city.

The addition of High Roller in 2014 was far more than just another attraction, however, and its arrival made an indelible impact on the Las Vegas Strip. In fact, this striking observation wheel did the opposite, permanently altering the Las Vegas skyline and creating a brand-new, bird’s-eye view of the city appreciated by millions of visitors from around the world.

Anchoring Caesars Entertainment’s open-air, pedestrian-friendly destination The LINQ Promenade, High Roller is a 21st-century architectural achievement. This eye-catching attraction is visible from miles away, as well as an iconic monument noted for its impressive craftsmanship, groundbreaking engineering elements and innovative development team that turned vision into reality.

The observation wheel is crafted from the world’s finest materials and made possible by myriad teams who worked tirelessly for four years to develop and build the attraction. With a unique single-rim design and 28 spacious, spherical cabins, visitors enjoy the memorable 30-minute rotation experience that provides breathtaking 360-degree views of Las Vegas. The same year it opened, Guinness World Records designated High Roller as “The World’s Tallest Observation Wheel.”

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
The High Roller Wheelhouse will be adorned with birthday décor including balloons and streamers throughout the weekend.

As for the wheel itself, five cabins will be decorated for its momentous birthday, filled with large-scale games for guests to play, including Connect Four and Jenga, as a way for riders of all ages to be entertained and play during the 30-minute rotation.

Las Vegas locals and visitors are invited to participate in the birthday celebrations with numerous special ticket offers available Friday, March 29 through Tuesday, April 30:

The LINQ Promenade, an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district anchored by the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel, redefines the already-iconic Las Vegas skyline. The LINQ Promenade features more than 30 unique retail, dining and entertainment venues and plays host to a variety of special events, festivals and more. Expected to launch by the end of 2018, Fly LINQ will become the first and only zipline on the Las Vegas Strip and will feature 10 side-by-side zip lines, capable of simultaneously launching all riders. The High Roller consistently ranks as one of the best, “must see” attractions by media outlets and websites around the world ranging from the Travel + Leisure to USA Today and TripAdvisor. The wheel’s 28 glass-enclosed cabins feature an interactive experience including video and music that fade away to unveil spectacular views of the famed resort city in the 30 minutes it takes to complete one full revolution. Each cabin accommodates up to 40 people. Unique in-cabin experiences including the Happy Half Hour (for guests ages 21 and over including an open bar inside the cabin during the 30-minute ride); North America’s first in-cabin Chocolate Tasting with Ethel M Chocolates and Yoga in the Sky (a 60-minute experience that can accommodate up to six guests per one-hour session). Cabins are also available for individual or group experiences. For more information, please visit TheLINQ.com.  Find @LINQPromenade on Facebook and follow on Twitter and Instagram.
