Now, those days are coming back thanks to Freedom Beat at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino with the arrival of the sound-breaking concert series, Albumpalooza.™
Kicking off Feb. 10 with the best of Crosby Stills Nash and Young Greatest Hits album (followed by: The Beatles Abbey Road Live – Saturday, March 18 and The Eagles Their Greatest Hits Live – Saturday, April 8), Albumpalooza is not a wig and costume show, instead it features some of the best musicians anywhere performing the songs note for note, the same way they sounded back in the day when the needle hit the vinyl.
The Albumpalooza concert series showcases unmatched musicianship with each classic and timeless album played with expert precision and heartfelt passion in an exciting concert production live on the stage at Freedom Beat. The one-night-only shows are free for all those 21-and over and begin at 9 p.m.
Albumpalooza: Crosby Stills Nash and Young’s Greatest Hits Live – Friday, Feb. 10 – Hear all the timeless hits of the legendary ensemble from “Teach Your Children” to “Our House” to “Woodstock” all played by one the best bands of their kind anywhere, CSN Express – The Tribute! As an added bonus the band will also perform a special segment featuring the best solo hits of Neil Young. CSN Express – The Tribute is a world-class ensemble comprised of seasoned performers who have played with and worked alongside musical legends like Frankie Valli and The Bee Gees.
Albumpalooza: The Beatles Abbey Road Live – Saturday, March 18 – First issued in 1969, Abbey Road was the final album recorded by the four Beatles. Experience the classic album in its entirety plus enjoy the best of the Beatles number one hits performed by The Fab. Made up of great musicians and singers playing with genuine passion for the music they love, The Fab has become one of Las Vegas’ most successful showroom and corporate acts. Comprised of some of the best players anywhere, the Albumpalooza Band pays tribute to the best of the best from the super group who shaped the Country Rock movement with their brilliant songwriting and performances. Hear the entire album including classic like “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Witchy Woman” and “One of These Nights” performed live just as they were when first recorded.
