Borracha Mexican Cantina, located at Green Valley Ranch Spa and Casino in Henderson, will offer three courses of thoughtfully curated specials in celebration of Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16.

 

The featured celebratory courses will include a shrimp cocktail appetizer with watermelon cocktail sauce, fideo de pepino, avocado balls and cilantro, priced at $18; a 12-ounce New York Steak entreé served with a side of cilantro rice, slow-roasted tomatoes and chimichurri, priced at $68; and a bread pudding dessert paired with vanilla gelato, cream glaze, fresh strawberries and coated in a caramel sauce, priced at $16.

 

Borracha’s hand-painted floor and wraparound mural bring the restaurant to life and give a festive vibe to the celebratory space. Multiple television screens and a centralized bar grant guests an elevated, yet intimate experience ideal for various celebrations. The restaurant will be open on Father’s Day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

In addition to the featured specials, guests can also enjoy Borracha’s Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring the best of Mexican cuisine classics including a breakfast burrito with chorizo, eggs, potatoes, chipotle aioli, peppers and onions, priced at $17; and chilaquiles with two eggs, corn tortilla chips, black beans, cotija cheese, avocado, cilantro and oven-roasted tomatárbol sauce, priced at $15. The regular menu also features fan favorites like flavor-packed chipotle Buffalo wings with tomatillo ranch and fresh veggies, priced at $18; and traditional chili-lime shrimp tacos topped with shredded cabbage, avocado, charred scallion pico de gallo and micro cilantro, priced at $18. Borracha’s signature dishes can be paired with the full drink menu, which features a vast list of specialty tequila flights, signature cocktails, draft and bottled beer, wine selections and zero proof libations for the whole family to toast to Dad.
