L.A. Comedy Club at The STRAT to
Host Rock N Honor Charity Event in Honor of
Fallen Officers and First Responders
L.A. Comedy Club at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower will host the 2023 Rock N Honor, a live music and comedy event benefitting the families of fallen police officers and first responders, on Saturday, Dec. 2. All of the proceeds from the tickets, which start at $25 per person and are available for purchase here, will be donated to local organizations. Doors open at 5:15 p.m.
This year’s event will be hosted by resident L.A. Comedy Club comedian, Butch Bradley. The evening will begin with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department Honor Guard escorting the Las Vegas Emerald City Pipe Band through The STRAT into the showroom. The evening will include live music and additional comedians as well as a silent auction and raffle giveaways. All proceeds from the event will go to support Rock N Honor as well as local organizations Blue Line Valor, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Honor Guard and the Las Vegas Emerald Society Pipe Band.
This year also marks the first time that the Blue Line Valor team will participate in a 10-day bicycle ride that will conclude at the L.A. Comedy Club Dragon Room where the benefit is taking place. Upon their arrival to The STRAT, the cyclists will be greeted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Honor Guard and the Las Vegas Emerald Society Pipe Band who provide their services at all funerals of fallen officers.

The Blue Line Valor is made up of active and retired Nevada police officers who participate in long distance bicycle rides to raise funds and awareness for law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in either the line of duty or due to mental health related issues.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Honor Guard perform military style honors during funeral services for officers killed in the line of duty. They also provide services for current and retired law enforcement officers in and outside of Nevada to accommodate communities who do not have proper funding or resources to do so.
About The Las Vegas Emerald Society Pipe Band
The Las Vegas Emerald Society Pipe Band serves as a pipe band for the LVMPD Honor Guard. Since their creation in 2014, they have provided their services at all services of fallen officers and have provided music honors during National Police Week in Washington, D.C.
