Create New Memories on Grandparent’s Day— Sunday, Sept. 8

In 1978, President Jimmy Carter proclaimed the first Sunday after Labor Day National Grandparent’s Day and grandchildren have been spoiling their loved ones ever since. Here are just a few relaxing and fun ways to celebrate this year at MGM Resorts Sunday, Sept. 8.

  • Kickoff Grandparent’s Day at Bellagio and enjoy Fountains Brunch at Jasmine. In classic Bellagio style, the freshest ingredients and innovative dishes are combined with a stellar view of the world famous Fountains of Bellagio to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Sample blueberry-stuffed white-chocolate brioche French toast served with Vermont maple syrup or explore international flavors with the crystal prawn and spinach dim sum. After Brunch, stroll through Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens and take advantage of the summer display’s final day before fall arrives. The summer display highlights the season with oversized sunflowers, chirping birds, colorful kites and a tranquil pond; plenty of opportunity for a precious Grandparent’s Day photo.

  • After a jam-packed morning, schedule time for grandpa and grandma to relax during the afternoon at BATHHOUSE Spa at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. Choose THEmassage, a custom massage created for each guest’s individual needs. After a consultation with the therapist, a blend of massage techniques from Swedish, deep tissue (or a little of both) come together during this 25, 50 or 80 minute treatment. To create an unmatched experience, treat the grandparents to enhancements such as aromatherapy, hot stone infusion or detoxifying acupoint; a jade-infused massage gel used on acupressure points along the spine to help the body increase metabolism, rebalance internal organ systems and rid the body of toxins.
