Feel the rythym of the heart of downtown Las Vegas as it beats to the many sounds heard at Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, where you’ll find the premier restaurant and music venue, Freedom Beat. During October and November, listen to the country tunes of Headliner Jack Ingram, best known for smash hits, like “Love You,” “Barefoot and Crazy” and “Measure of a Man“; vibe to the mix of modern country and pop with The Porch Hounds, led by Aaron Benward, former lead singer of Blue County, and Travis Howard, best known for writing Miranda Lambert hits “Famous In a Small Town” and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”; or rock out with Las Vegas’ own Franky Perez, best known for his 2003 rock radio hit, “Something Crazy,” as well as being the lead singer of Apocalyptica and Kings of Chaos — all in one place and hand-picked by veteran music booker Judy Alberti. Every night, check out the Freedom Beat stage from 6 to 9 p.m., then visit the casino floor stage for round two from 9 to 11 p.m., then finish where you started with some American food and drinks back at Freedom Beat from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. In addition to the nightly live music, Mondays at 9 p.m., the Gibson Showcase calls Freedom Beat home, offering up a variety of Gibson guitars for anyone who wants to have a jam session.
