The new 1228 Main, located in Downtown Las Vegas’ Arts District at 1228 S. Main St., has a flavorful solution for those seeking a mouthwatering Thanksgiving feast in lieu of preparing the meal, in addition to artisan breads and desserts. The deadline to order the full Thanksgiving feast, pies and other featured selections is Friday, Nov. 17.
The complete feast, which serves eight guests, is priced at $400. The menu showcases cherished holiday classics, with the star attraction being a whole, succulently roasted free-range turkey, offering both sliced breast and confit dark meat. Accompaniments include an herb turkey gravy; traditional sourdough stuffing with celery, leeks and savory herbs; buttered green beans drizzled with a mushroom béchamel and Yukon potato puree. Complementing these savory treats are freshly baked Parker House rolls; spiced orange cranberry sauce; maple glazed sweet potatoes and the diners’ choosing of apple or pumpkin pie. Additional à la carte items will also be available to order.
1228 Main is also offering homemade artisan breads and specialty desserts to complement Thanksgiving dinner. Freshly baked bread selections include classic ciabatta, priced at $16; San Francisco-style sourdough, priced at $11; cherry walnut, priced at $11, and Parker House rolls, priced at 8. Dessert options include a Basque-style cheesecake topped with maple whipped cream, priced at $ 40; brown butter Dutch apple pie, priced at $30, and spiced pumpkin pie, priced at $25.
